Cornell Iral Haynes Jr., better known by his stage name Nelly, is an American rapper, singer, and entrepreneur. He embarked on his music career with the hip hop group St. Lunatics in 1993 and signed to Universal Records in 1999. Under Universal, Nelly began his solo career in the year 2000, with his debut album Country Grammar, of which the featured title track and the single "Ride wit Me" were top ten hits. The album peaked at number one the Billboard 200, and became Nelly's best-selling album to date, selling over 8.4 million copies in the United States. His following album Nellyville produced the number-one hits "Hot in Herre" and "Dilemma", along with the top five single "Air Force Ones".
Lightning Bolt is an American noise rock duo from Providence, Rhode Island, composed of Brian Chippendale on drums and vocals and Brian Gibson on bass guitar. The band met and formed in 1994 as students of the Rhode Island School of Design. Lightning Bolt were listed 8th in Metacritic's Artists of the Decade 2000–09.

Quarashi is an Icelandic rap rock band from Reykjavík, Iceland. The group consists of rappers Hössi Ólafsson, Ómar Örn Hauksson, Steinar Orri Fjeldsted, and Sölvi Blöndal. For live shows, Quarashi was joined by guitarist Smári "Tarfur" Jósepsson, bassist Gaukur Úlfarsson, and DJ Dice. The group came back together in 2016 and is planning on releasing a new album.

The play was directed by Bergur Þór Ingólfsson, and ran in the Borgarleikhús in the winter of 2001.

Prazo Longo is the second album by Brazilian alternative rock band Charlie Brown Jr. Like its predecessor, it was released through Virgin Records on March 6, 1999, and produced by Rick Bonadio and Tadeu Patolla. Totaling 25 tracks, it is Charlie Brown Jr.'s longest studio album; in an interview, vocalist Chorão explained that Preço Curto... Prazo Longo was recorded out of necessity, so the band could have more repertoire for the set list of their shows. Six of the album's tracks had previously appeared as teasers in the promotional EP Aquele Luxo!, released some months prior.
