The Gulf Coast League Tourists or GCL Tourists were a minor league baseball club, that was an affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates during the 1970 season.
The team played in the rookie-level Gulf Coast League. The Tourists were the second Pirates' affiliate in the league, playing alongside the Gulf Coast League Pirates. The team's Tourists moniker was derived from the fact that they did not have a home field, only serving as a road club. The Tourists folded after their lone season.

The Florida Complex League (FCL) is a rookie-level Minor League Baseball league that operates in Florida, United States. Before 2021, it was known as the Gulf Coast League (GCL). Together with the Arizona Complex League (ACL), it forms the lowest rung on the North American minor-league ladder.
The Kingsport Mets were a Minor League Baseball team of the Appalachian League from 1921 to 2020. They were located in Kingsport, Tennessee, and were last named for the team's major league affiliate, the New York Mets. The team played its home games at Hunter Wright Stadium which opened in 1995. The Mets previously played at Dobyns-Bennett High School. In 1983, while Dobyns-Bennett's field was being renovated, the team temporarily moved to Sarasota, Florida, and played in the Gulf Coast League as the Gulf Coast League Mets.

David Earl Clark is an American former outfielder in Major League Baseball who played from 1986 to 1998. Currently the manager of the Idaho Falls Chukars of the Pioneer League. He previously served as the first base coach and outfield instructor for the Detroit Tigers. He served as manager of the Houston Astros Double-A affiliate, the Corpus Christi Hooks (2005–2007), and led them to the Texas League Championship in 2006. He also served as the manager of the Houston Astros' Pacific Coast League Triple-A affiliate, the Round Rock Express and served as the manager for the Huntsville Stars, the double-A affiliate for the Milwaukee Brewers. He was the interim Manager for the Houston Astros at the end of the 2009 season.
