The H/PJ-38 is a single-barreled 130mm naval gun employed by the People's Liberation Army Navy. This naval gun, which was designed in 2005, was first installed on the Type 052D destroyer. [1] [2] The H/PJ-38 is the name given to this firearm in English and Japanese literature. This weapon's official designation, according to Taiwanese military journalist Lu Yi, is H/PJ-45. [1]
The H/PJ-38 was designed by the Norinco, through reverse engineering of the Soviet AK-130 twin 130mm naval gun. The H/PJ-38 was manufactured by the Inner Mongolia Second Machinery Manufacturing Factory. [3]
Chen Dingfeng was the general designer of the H/PJ-38. Dingfeng was also the general designer for the Type 79 100 mm naval gun, the Type 210 100 mm naval gun, and the H/PJ26 76mm naval gun. The Chinese navy was unsatisfied and did not let the AK-130 counterpart go into production, despite all performance parameters being met. [4] The Chinese Navy determined the AK-130 to be out-of-date, [2] which led to the creation of the H/PJ38 program in 2005. [5]
The 5" /54 caliber lightweight gun is a U.S. naval artillery gun mount consisting of a 5 in (127 mm) L54 Mark 19 gun on the Mark 45 mount. It was designed and built by United Defense, a company later acquired by BAE Systems Land & Armaments, which continued manufacture.

The Otobreda 127mm/54 Compact (127/54C) gun is a dual purpose naval artillery piece built by the Italian company Oto Melara. It uses the 127mm round which is also used in the 5 inch/ 54 gun, albeit that this gun calibre is measured in United States customary units rather than metric. The gun uses an automatic loading system where 66 127mm rounds of various kinds can be stored ready-to-fire in three loader drums. The barrel is water-cooled. Currently the gun is still in use by navies around the world but it is slowly being replaced by the Otobreda 127/64 for new vessels, such as the German Navy's F125-class frigate and Italian Navy's FREMM.

The Type 052D destroyer is a class of guided-missile destroyers in the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy. The Type 052D is a larger variant of the Type 052C; the Type 052D uses a canister-type, instead of revolver-type, vertical launching system (VLS) and has flat-paneled active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar. The new VLS is not limited to surface-to-air missiles, making the Type 052D China's first dedicated multi-role destroyer.

Changsha (516) was a Type 053H frigate of the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN). The ship, renamed Jiujiang in 1981, was constructed in 1975 in the shipyards of Hudong in Shanghai. Per early reports, the ship was retired in 2017, but the official documentation shows the retirement year as 2018. The ship was the oldest serving frigate at its retirement. After its renaming, it took on a vital role as the PLA's only combat support vessel of its kind and sent minor shock waves through the military when it was decommissioned.
The CS/LR4 7.62 Millimeter High-Precision Sniper System, also known as NSG-1, is a type of bolt-action sniper rifle designed and manufactured by Chinese company Norinco. The weapon is chambered with CS/DFL3 (7.62×51mm) high-precision cartridge in a 5-round box magazine. The rifle features a free-floating barrel and specifically designed munition that improves accuracy. The rifle also accepts other .308 Winchester ammo.
