The ancient city of Halasa or Chellous, Elusa (Ελουϲα) in the Byzantine period, was a city in the Negev near present-day Kibbutz Mash'abei Sadeh that was once part of the Nabataean Incense Route. It lay on the route from Petra to Gaza. Today it is known as Haluza, and during periods of Arab habitation it was known as al-Khalūṣ and Al-Khalasa.

Leinkupal is a genus of diplodocine sauropod known from the Early Cretaceous of the Bajada Colorada Formation, southeastern Neuquén Basin in the Neuquén Province of Argentina. It contains a single species, Leinkupal laticauda.

Rudolph John Haluza was an American racewalker who competed in the 1960 Summer Olympics and in the 1968 Summer Olympics. Haluza competed in two Olympics in the 20 km walk, placing 24th in 1960 and almost winning a medal in 1968 when he finished fourth. He was born in Middletown, New York. He grew up in Queens and after college entered the Air Force and became a pilot for United Airlines.
