Marshall is a town in Madison County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 872 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Madison County.

The Large Plasma Device is an experimental physics device located at UCLA. It is designed as a general purpose laboratory for experimental plasma physics research. The device began operation in 1991 and was upgraded in 2001 to its current version. The modern LAPD is operated as the primary device for a national collaborative research facility, the Basic Plasma Science Facility, which is supported by the US Department of Energy, Fusion Energy Sciences and the National Science Foundation. Half of the operation time of the device is available to scientists at other institutions and facilities who can compete for time through a yearly solicitation.

Estádio Santa Rosa is a multi-use stadium located in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil. It is used mostly for football matches and hosts the home matches of Esporte Clube Novo Hamburgo. The stadium has a maximum capacity of 17,000 people.
The George Davis House, is a house in Toronto, Ontario built in 1919 and designated as a Toronto Heritage Property on September 30, 2004. The house is located at 40 Kingswood Road in the Beaches area of eastern Toronto and part of the Kingswood Road South Heritage Conservation District. The house was built for George Davis, an editor with Maclean's Publishing, and was later occupied by F.S. Hollister whose firm was involved in creating the World War 1 memorial windows in Ottawa's Peace Tower on Parliament Hill. The house is considered a good example of "Period Revival Design with English Tudor elements".

Redbrook on Wye railway station was a station serving the village of Redbrook on the now disused Wye Valley Railway. It was opened on 1 November 1876 with the rest of the line and remained open for 83 years, it closed in 1959. The sidings and passing loop remained open until late 1961 to serve the Tinplate Works in the village.

The sculpture is located on a roundabout at the junction of Av. Nações Unidas and Av. Nicolau Becker.

The Tablelands railway line is a railway line in North Queensland, Australia. It was opened in a series of sections between 1887 and 1916. It commences at Cairns and at its maximum extent, reached Ravenshoe at the southern end of the Atherton Tableland. The rail system served by this line was unusual for Queensland in that the majority of lines that connected to it were built by private companies and later purchased by the Queensland Government.

Lainshaw Castle was a 15th century castle about 1.0 mile (1.6 km) south-west of Stewarton, East Ayrshire, Scotland, to the north of Annick Water. The castle was incorporated into Lainshaw House over the course of the 17th and 18th centuries.
