Cẩm Phả is a city of Quảng Ninh Province in the north-east region of Vietnam. It is an important coal exporting port of Vietnam. As of February 2012, the city had a population of 195,800. Triathlon and duathlon competitions at the 2021 Southeast Asian Games took place in Tuần Châu, Quảng Ninh, Vietnam from 14 to 15 May 2022.

Volleyball at the 2021 Southeast Asian Games took place in Quảng Ninh, Vietnam from 13 to 22 May 2022. The 2021 Games featured competitions in four events. The indoor volleyball competition took place at Đại Yên Arena, and the beach volleyball competitions were held at Tuần Châu Resort. All events were free-entry for spectators.

The women's football tournament at the 2021 Southeast Asian Games was held from 9–21 May 2022 in Vietnam. Seven Southeast Asian nations participated in the women's tournament. All matches were played in Quảng Ninh. There was no age limit for this tournament. Indonesia withdrew from the competition after the draw. Malaysia withdrew from the competition before the draw. Timor-Leste did not take part in the competition.

Beach handball men's tournament at the 2021 Southeast Asian Games is scheduled to be held from 6 to 11 May 2022 in Hạ Long, Quảng Ninh, Vietnam. There are four participating teams. A double round robin format was adopted.

The men's beach volleyball tournament at the 2021 Southeast Asian Games took place at the Tuần Châu Beach, Quảng Ninh, Vietnam from 15 to 20 May 2022.

The women's beach volleyball tournament at the 2021 Southeast Asian Games took place at the Tuần Châu, Quảng Ninh, Vietnam from 15 to 20 May 2022.
