Harper's Mill on Magic Kingdom's Tom Sawyer Island

Harper's Mill is a building located on Tom Sawyer Island at Disneyland, Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom and Tokyo Disneyland. All three have different, distinct appearances, but all of them feature a water wheel attached to, or near the building. They are all named after the character, "Joe Harper", from The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn .

The official name of the mill at Disneyland is Harper's Cider Mill and serves as part of the stage for the nighttime show Fantasmic! .

Inside the mill at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World there is a depiction of a scene from Disney's The Old Mill . The gears inside the mill also "creak" to the tune of "Down by the Old Mill Stream".

Lafitte's Tavern

When Tom Sawyer Island at Disneyland was updated and themed to Pirates of the Caribbean in early 2007, Harper's Mill became Lafitte's Tavern presumably named after Lafitte's Landing from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction (which in turn was named after the pirate Jean Lafitte). The Fantasmic! stage in front of the mill is used for a pirate show during the day.

The Old Mill is a 1937 Silly Symphonies cartoon produced by Walt Disney Productions, directed by Wilfred Jackson, scored by Leigh Harline, and released theatrically to theatres by RKO Radio Pictures on November 5, 1937. The film depicts the natural community of animals populating an old abandoned windmill in the country, and how they deal with a severe summer thunderstorm that nearly destroys their habitat. It incorporates the song "One Day When We Were Young" from Johann Strauss II's operetta The Gypsy Baron.

Mike Fink Keel Boats were small boats that navigated the Rivers of America at Disneyland, the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Park in Disneyland Paris.

Pirates of the Caribbean is a Disney media franchise encompassing numerous theme park rides, a series of films, and spin-off novels, as well as a number of related video games and other media publications. Tom Sawyer Island

Tom Sawyer Island is an artificial island surrounded by the Rivers of America at Disneyland, Magic Kingdom and Tokyo Disneyland. It contains structures and caves with references to Mark Twain characters from the novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and provides interactive, climbing, and scenic opportunities. At Disneyland in 2007, the attraction was rethemed and expanded as Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island, adding references to Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean film series.

World of Color is a night-time show at Disney California Adventure, part of the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. Conceived by Vice President of Parades and Spectaculars, Steve Davison, and designed by Walt Disney Creative Entertainment, the show has nearly 1,200 musical water fountains and includes lights, fire, lasers, and fog, with high-definition projections on mist screens. The show is inspired by Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color anthology television series, as evidenced by the use of its eponymous theme song written by the Sherman Brothers.
