Tehrik-e-Jafaria Pakistan (TJP) is a Shia Muslim sectarian religious organization in Pakistan. It originated after splitting from Tehrik-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafaria which is being led by Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. After being declared as proscribed by the Government of Pakistan on 14 January 2002, TJP started operating under the new name of Islami Tehrik.

Lalian Tehsil is a tehsil of Chiniot District and a city of Punjab, Pakistan. It is located on Sargodha road 22 km from Chiniot. It became tehsil of Chiniot District on 2 February 2009 when Mian Shahbaz Sharif decided to make Chiniot a District. Before that it was a town of Chiniot Tehsil and now with the addition of 12 more union councils it has become a Tehsil with large amount of population in towns and villages.
The Bharwana caste are a subcaste of Sial (tribe) of Jats who came to this part of the subcontinent in the 14th century from Rajasthan, then Rajputana. They embraced Islam at the hands of Sufi poet Baba Farid Ganj Shakar. Bharwanas are settled along river Chenab in villages like Satiana, Mukhiana, Khewa, Sultanpur, Chund Bharwana, Qaim Bharwana, Kot Mirza and Chianwala in the Jhang and Chiniot tehsils. They have been a political force in the district for a long time. One of their elders, Mehr Zafarullah( Nasir Abad ) became chairman of Jhang District Council in 1987 and 1991. He also became MPA for three times and he also was the Advisor to Chief Minister.Mehr Ghulam Haider returned as MNA on several occasions. Mehr Akhtar Abbas became chairman of Jhang District Council in 1991.The former went on to become provincial minister for industries. Mehr Aslam was an adviser to the Punjab chief minister in 1990 and is currently the Provincial Minister for Cooperative.Mehr Amjad Nawaz Bharwana chairman of union council.Mehr Liaqat Ali Bharwana chairman of union council Dhoi Head Trimmo. Akhtar Abbas Bharwana II is the General Manager of TEVTA. Babar Hassan Bharwana retired from the post of Federal Secretary for Housing at grade 22.

NA-100 (Chiniot-II) is a constituency for the National Assembly of Pakistan. It comprises Chiniot Tehsil and a some areas of Bhowana Tehsil. The constituency was formally known as NA-86 (Jhang-I) before the 2018 delimitations. The creation of Chiniot District in 2009 from areas previously included in Jhang District mandated this change in nomenclature.
