The Hatillo Eagles was a semi-pro Puerto Rican football team based in Hatillo, Puerto Rico, competing in the Puerto Rico American Football League (PRAFL).

It is the club's U-23 team that participates in the American Football League of Puerto Rico 2nd division of Puerto Rican American football league pyramid, its goal is to develop players with potential so that they can eventually make the jump to either the PRAFL team.
Sports in Puerto Rico can be traced from the ceremonial competitions amongst the pre-Columbian Native Americans of the Arawak (Taíno) tribes who inhabited the island to the modern era in which sports activities consist of an organized physical activity or skill carried out with a recreational purpose for competition. One of the sports which the Taíno's played was a ball game called "Batey". The "Batey" was played in "U" shaped fields two teams; however, unlike the ball games of the modern era, the winners were treated like heroes and the losers were sacrificed.
Hatillo is a municipality located on the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico's north coast, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the north, Lares and Utuado to the south, Camuy to the west, and Arecibo to the east. According to the 2000 US Census Hatillo is spread over 9 wards and Hatillo Pueblo. It is part of the San Juan-Caguas-Guaynabo Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Puerto Rican Football Federation is the governing body of association football in Puerto Rico. It was founded in 1940 and became affiliated to FIFA in 1960, one of the last to do so in the Western Hemisphere. Béisbol Doble A, governed by the Federación de Béisbol Aficionado de Puerto Rico, is a Puerto Rican amateur baseball spring and summer baseball league, founded in 1940 and based in San Juan. The season starts in mid-February, and ends with the Carnaval de Campeones final in September. They play a weekend schedule, and their all-star game is held soon after the regular season and before the playoffs. The Toritos de Cayey are the defending champions.
