Heart of Darkness is a craft brewery founded in 2016 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The company operates one brewery in Vietnam and two tasting rooms in Singapore [1] and Ho Chi Minh City [2] respectively.
The brewery's name and range of beer are inspired by the Joseph Conrad novella, Heart of Darkness. [3]
Heart of Darkness' beer is distributed throughout Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, [4] Malaysia, Cambodia, New Zealand, [5] Australia [6] and Finland.
Heart of Darkness has produced collaborative beers with other breweries, such as Magic Rock Brewing, Little Creatures Brewery, Gweilo Beer, and Behemoth Brewing Company in New Zealand. [7]

Beer, called maekju in Korean, was first introduced to Korea in the early 20th century. Seoul's first brewery opened in 1908. Two current major breweries date back to the 1930s. The third brewery established in Korea, Jinro Coors Brewery, was founded in the 1990s. It was later acquired by Oriental Breweries (OB). Hite Breweries's former name was Chosun Breweries, which was established in 1933. The company changed its name to Hite Breweries in 1998. OB Breweries established as Showa Kirin Breweries in 1933. The company changed its name to OB Breweries in 1995.
Mountain Goat Beer is a brewery in Richmond, Victoria, Australia. The brewery was founded in 1997 by Cam Hines and Dave Bonighton. The company's first commercial brew, 'Hightale Ale' amber ale, was released in October 1997. Mountain Goat Beer was purchased by Asahi in September 2015.
The Matilda Bay Brewing Company was a West Australian brewery. It was the first new brewery opened in Australia since World War II and Australia's first craft brewery. Originating from small batches brewed for the Sail and Anchor Hotel in 1984, their main brewery opened in 1989 in a prominent building on the Stirling Highway occupied by Ford Motor Company. The company was purchased by Carlton & United Breweries in the early 1990s.

The Nelson Brewing Company is a brewery in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada, not to be confused with The Nelson Brewing Company in Chatham, Kent, England. The original Nelson Brewing and Ice Company was founded in 1892 by Robert Reisterer. In 1956, the brewery moved to Creston, BC and became the Columbia Brewing Company, leaving the original building unoccupied for nearly 40 years. In 1991, a group of local businessmen reopened the Nelson Brewing Company in its original historical building and by 2006 became BC's largest fully certified organic brewery. While most beer from the Nelson Brewing Company is consumed in the Kootenays, it is available across British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.

Malt Shovel is best known for its James Squire range of beers. StoneHammer Brewing was located in Guelph, Ontario and was a member of the Ontario Craft Brewers Association (OCB). The brewery was established in August 1995 as F&M Breweries by Rich Fortnum, Bruce Fortnum, Antonia Smits and Charles MacLean. They produced StoneHammer Pilsner, MacLean's Pale Ale, and a dry-hopped dark mild sold only in casks to select publicans. During this time, F&M started contract brewing in Ontario for a handful of contracts while under contention under LCBO licensing. Their StoneHammer Pilsner was also invited into the Great British Beer Festival beer competition, into the American jurisdiction. Three years later it was sold to Frank Cerniuk who continued the Stone Hammer (sic) name with an award-winning line of Stone Hammer beers under the company name F&M Brewery. In February 2015, Frank sold the Brewery to Phillip and Lesley Woodhouse who renamed the brewery after its flagship brand. In spring 2018, the company filed for bankruptcy having closed its doors in late April of that year. StoneHammer also produced several contract beers, including the Taste of Ontario Harvest Series for the Neighbourhood Group.

Marble Brewery is a brewery in Albuquerque, New Mexico, founded in 2008. Its main brewhouse is located in downtown Albuquerque on Marble Avenue, which gave the brewery its name. The 30 barrel brewhouse is responsible for brewing all classic and seasonal styles, including Marble's most popular brew, Double White. As of 2018, it was the second largest brewery in New Mexico with an annual production volume of 23,000 US barrels. In 2016, the brewery completed a major expansion which increased the production capacity to 30,000 barrels. Its beers have won several awards and it was named Small Brewery and Brewmaster of the Year at the 2014 Great American Beer Festival.
