Here's to the Fatigue is the second album by English alternative rock band Press to Meco, released on 30 March 2018.
Having spent much of 2016 writing their follow up to debut album Good Intent , the band went into pre-production for their second album at the end of August the same year. This process took place over the course of a week with producer Machine (Lamb of God, Every Time I Die, Clutch) in Croydon before relocating to Austin, Texas in September to begin recording. [1] Production wrapped on 8 October 2016 and the band returned to the UK where they would spend much of 2017 searching for a label to release the album. [2] With discussions ultimately proving fruitless, the trio instead announced on 31 July that they would be self-releasing Here's to the Fatigue on 17 November 2017, debuting lead single, "If All Your Parts Don't Make a Whole" alongside the announcement. [3] Second single, title track "Here's to the Fatigue", followed on 18 September with the band also announcing a six-date UK tour that winter in support of the release. [4] Discussing what do expect from their sophomore effort, drummer and vocalist Lewis Williams explained that "the new songs focus a lot on becoming disillusioned with your life and more emotionally weary with age. The album has a lot of existential angst, but also a few moments of clarity where it's saying just to let go, lift your legs and float down the stream." [5]
A week before its expected release however, the band announced that they would no longer be releasing the album in November 2017 as previously stated, later revealing that they had signed to Marshall Records [6] who would in turn put out the album. As one of the labels they had originally discussed the release with, the band were contacted two weeks before the original release date with a revised offer from the record company. Explaining their reconsideration of Marshall Records, guitarist and vocalist Luke Caley explained, "We met up and we were sceptical because of how things were before. The way the label was set-up back then wasn't really aligned with what we were about and what we felt could benefit the band. We sat down and after an hour or two-hour meeting, we came away feeling it was the right thing to do. This is going to make the album bigger then [sic] if we self-released it. It's worth pulling it and rescheduling." [2] Third single, "Familiar Ground", followed on 14 February 2018 [7] with Here's to the Fatigue finally seeing its release a month later on 30 March 2018.
Much like their debut, Here's to the Fatigue received critical acclaim upon its release. Distorted Sound awarded the album 9/10, noting that, "This is the sound of a unique, talented, inspired young band really honing what they are and distilling their very essence to several key ingredients: a mastery of their instruments, an advanced understanding of both technicality and melody and where to balance the two, a sincere and concise carefree message and attitude to life and a fresh, captivating grasp on what pop-meets-alt-rock should be." [8] Writing for Hit the Floor, James Fitzgerald commended the band's evolution, noting, "Press to MECO have built upon the solid foundation of their debut, delivering an album that's not just technically impressive but also filled with undeniably massive tunes." [9] In a four out of five star review, Punknews praised the album's production, stating, "It feels huge (especially for a 3-piece), with a perfect combination of power and sheen that emphasises equally the strength of technical ability and vocal work." [10] The band also received a 4K review from Kerrang! [11] [12]

Tell All Your Friends is the debut studio album by American rock band Taking Back Sunday, released on March 26, 2002, through Victory Records. Forming in 1999, the group underwent several lineup changes before settling on vocalist Adam Lazzara, guitarist and vocalist John Nolan, guitarist Eddie Reyes, bassist Shaun Cooper, and drummer Mark O'Connell. Taking Back Sunday released a five-song demo in early 2001, after which they toured the United States for most of the year. They rented a room in Lindenhurst, New York, where they wrote and demoed songs. In December 2001, the band signed with Victory Records; they began recording their debut album with producer Sal Villanueva at Big Blue Meenie Recording Studio in New Jersey.
What It Is to Burn is the debut studio album by American rock band Finch. It was released on March 12, 2002, through MCA and Drive-Thru Records. After finalizing their line-up, Finch signed to Drive-Thru. Recording for the album took place between June and September 2001 with producer Mark Trombino. A music video for "Letters to You" was released in January 2003. The title-track "What Is It to Burn" was released as the lead single in January 2003, followed by the single "Letters to You" in April of that year. "New Beginnings"/"What It Is to Burn" was released as the third and final single on a double A-side in August 2003. "Letters to You" charted at number 39 on the UK Singles Chart, while "What It Is to Burn" charted within the top 40 of the US Alternative Songs and Mainstream Rock charts.
Daughters were an American rock band formed in 2002, in Providence, Rhode Island. The band's most recent lineup consisted of vocalist Alexis Marshall, guitarist Nick Sadler, drummer Jon Syverson, and bassist Samuel Walker.
Midtown is an American pop-punk band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. Midtown was formed in November 1998 by three Rutgers University students, but quickly became a quartet. The group released three full-length studio albums and three extended plays before disbanding in 2005. In early 2014, Midtown reunited to play three shows, the first as a secret show at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, and the two remaining at the Skate And Surf Festival. They reunited for more shows in 2022 as openers on My Chemical Romance's reunion tour.
Creeper are an English rock band from Southampton. Formed in 2014, the group originally featured vocalist Will Gould, guitarists Ian Miles and Sina Nemati, bassist Sean Scott, and drummer Dan Bratton. The band independently released their self-titled debut EP in 2014, before signing with Roadrunner Records and issuing follow-up The Callous Heart the next year. At the end of 2015, Nemati was replaced by Oliver Burdett and touring keyboardist/second vocalist Hannah Greenwood became an official band member. A third EP, The Stranger, was released in 2016 and reached the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart top ten.
Panic! at the Disco was an American pop rock band formed in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2004 by childhood friends Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, Brent Wilson, and Brendon Urie. Following several lineup changes, Panic! at the Disco operated as the solo project of frontman Urie from 2015 until its discontinuation in 2023.
Mayday Parade is an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida. Formed in 2005, the band was a result of a merger between two local Tallahassee bands, Kid Named Chicago and Defining Moment. Their debut EP Tales Told by Dead Friends, was released in 2006, and sold over 50,000 copies without any label support. In July 2007, Mayday Parade released their debut album A Lesson in Romantics. Having been signed to Fearless Records since 2006, the band also signed onto a major label with Atlantic Records in 2009. Their second studio album, Anywhere but Here was released in October 2009 and their third album, entitled Mayday Parade, was released in October 2011. Mayday Parade's fourth album, titled Monsters in the Closet, was released in October 2013. Their fifth album, titled Black Lines, was released October 2015. In April 2018, the band signed to Rise Records and released their sixth studio album Sunnyland on June 15, 2018. Their seventh studio album, What It Means to Fall Apart, was released on November 19, 2021.
Mutiny! is the debut studio album by American rock band Set Your Goals. Within the first three months of 2006, the band signed to independent label Eulogy Recordings and recorded the album with Barrett Jones in Seattle, Washington. Immediately following recording, the band embarked on two tours across the United States. Before releasing Mutiny in July, the album was preceded by the single release of the title track. The band subsequently toured the US, either as a supporting act or headlining, into mid-2007. After appearing on that year's Warped Tour, the group toured across Europe before closing out the year with another US tour.
Take Off Your Colours is the debut studio album by English rock band You Me at Six, originally released on 6 October 2008 through Slam Dunk Records. After forming in 2004, they released an EP titled We Know What It Means to Be Alone in 2006, and went on a tour with Elliot Minor in support of the release. The Menzingers are an American punk rock band from Scranton, Pennsylvania, formed in 2006. The band consists of Greg Barnett, Tom May, Eric Keen (bass) and Joe Godino (drums). To date, the band has released eight studio albums, with their most recent, Some of It Was True, released on October 13, 2023.

Miss Vincent is an English punk rock band formed in Southampton, Hampshire, England in 2012. The band currently features original frontman Alex Marshall and lead guitarist Lawrie Pattison, as well as bass player Owain Mainwaring and drummer Nate Davenport. All four members contribute to their two- and three-part harmony vocals, a trademark of the band's sound. In August 2020, the band signed to Silent Cult Records, having previously been signed to Uncle M Records and Engineer Records, and in May 2021 announced their debut full-length album, A Funeral For Youth which was released that September.
