Hicksville High School is an American high school in the town of Hicksville, New York, in Nassau County. It is the only high school in the Hicksville Union Free School District (which serves Hicksville as well as parts of Westbury, Jericho, Syosset, Bethpage & Levittown). It opened in 1953.

In the 2016–17 school year,[ needs update ] the school had an enrollment of 1,705 students. The principal of the school is Raymond Williams, who became principal in the 2013–2014 school year. It is a co-educational public school and does not have a mandatory dress code.

Demographics

The student body is 53 percent male and 47 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 54 percent. The school offers grades 9–12 and special education. With 115 full-time teachers, there is a 15:1 student-teacher ratio. Hicksville High School has a 90% graduation rate. 12% of students are enrolled in the Free Lunch program and 6% are enrolled in the Reduced Price Lunch program.

Infinity Institute is a public middle school / high school located in the Greenville section of Jersey City, in Hudson County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, serving students in sixth through twelfth grades as part of the Jersey City Public Schools. While it is a public school, students do have to apply for entrance. Applications must have multiple letters of recommendation, as well as impressive grades from the previous academic year. The Clinton School is a New York City public middle and high school located in the Union Square section of Manhattan, New York. It serves a student body of about 400 students between the 6th and 12th grades. The Clinton School is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to offer the IB Diploma Programme. As per the U.S. News 2018 High School Ranking, the Clinton School is one of the top high schools in the nation,. Applicants must succeed in an admission test, and satisfy other requirements according to the grade entered. For over twenty years Clinton was located on the top floor of the elementary school PS 11 but has now relocated to a new building near Union Square.
