Horizon (Persian: Ofogh) is a 1989 film by the Iranian director Rasool Mollagholipoor. Mollagholipoor also scripted the film. Set during the Iran-Iraq war, Horizon is an example of Sacred Defence cinema. It starred among others Jahanbakhsh Soltani, Ali Sajjadi Hosseini and Mehrzad Nooshiravan. [1] [2]

Esmail Khoi or Esmail Khoyi was an Iranian poet and writer. He was living in the United Kingdom after being exiled from Iran during the 1980s. Khoi was originally a lecturer in Philosophy before the Iranian Revolution. He was a member of the Iranian Writers' Association.
