The Hotel Monte Vista is a historic hotel near U.S. Route 66 in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Hotel Monte Vista was built in 1927 and is in the historic downtown district of Flagstaff. It has 73 rooms and suites on three floors. Many famous people have stayed at the hotel, including John Wayne, Spencer Tracy, Humphrey Bogart, Clark Gable, Anthony Hopkins, Esther Williams, and Barbara Stanwyck.[ citation needed ]
The hotel is located at 100 North San Francisco Street. The Monte Vista Lounge, or "Monte V" as it is known, is a popular bar and entertainment venue.[ citation needed ]
There have been many alleged ghost sightings at the Hotel Monte Vista. One of the sightings involves a "Phantom Bell Boy" that knocks on guests' doors in the middle of the night and will talk to the guest.[ citation needed ]
The hotel was rumoured to be a filming location for the 1942 American romantic drama Casablanca.[ citation needed ]
Hotel Monte Vista was featured as a haunted location on the paranormal TV series, Most Terrifying Places which aired on the Travel Channel in 2019. [1]

The Raymond Hotel was a hotel in South Pasadena, California, and first major resort hotel of the San Gabriel Valley. The hotel was built atop Bacon Hill which lies between Pasadena and South Pasadena and was renamed Raymond Hill with the opening of the hotel in 1886. The original hotel, a grand and unequivocal Victorian edifice was burned to the ground in 1895. A second building, of a later and more fireproof style, was erected in 1901 and equally replaced the older in grandeur. The hotel was foreclosed following the Great Depression and was razed for commercial development.

It first was used by the Navy as a school where enlisted men spent the second, third, and fourth months of an 11-month course being trained as electronic technicians. Later the Hotel Del Monte became the Naval Postgraduate School. Today, the building is named Herrmann Hall. It contains school administrative offices and the Navy Gateway Inns and Suites, a hotel.
