Hugh O'Neills is a Gaelic football team in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1948, [1] and is the longest established team in Yorkshire. It has won the Pennine league 10 years in a row.

The club field teams from junior level to senior, and were all-Britain champions in 1982 and 1999. [2] Thomas Duffy, captained Hugh O'Neills to a championship title on Sunday 10 May 2015, scoring 2 goals and 3 points. Duffy scored two penalties, after making a comeback from an ankle injury, which made him miss out on seven months of sport.

On Wednesday 20 May 2015, the usually calm-headed Duffy received the first red card of his illustrious career after reacting to a "sneaky" punch while already on the ground. Speaking to reporters Duffy said "I would like to take this opportunity to express my regret and apologies to the fans of Hugh O'Neills. I am going to be speaking to the priest and we'll get a plan of action, I'm thinking at least 20 Hail Marys to start with."

On Thursday 9 July 2015, Hugh O'Neills played Brothers Pearse away in Huddersfield and won a very entertaining contest 6.9 to 4.9. Despite being suspended and not attending the game, Thomas Duffy still managed a haul of 1.3 to ensure Hugh O'Neills left with the win and a place in the final.

In 2017 Hugh O'Neills completed a clean sweep of Junior and Senior football titles in Yorkshire including the Junior League and Championship double, the Pennine league division 2 and the Yorkshire Senior League and Championship double. [2] This was the club's second senior championship in 3 years after also claiming the title in 2015.

Carrickmacross Emmets is a Gaelic football club from Carrickmacross in County Monaghan in Ireland. The club was founded in 1887. The club participates in Monaghan competitions. The club has won the Monaghan Senior Football Championship eight times and have come runner-up seven times. The Club colours are Green and Yellow. The first club grounds played on were Athletic Grounds, then the Gaelic Grounds. In 1938 the club moved to its present grounds at Emmet Park, which was developed into one of the best venues in the county. It was officially opened in 1953 when Monaghan played Meath. In recent years the club secured property on the Donaghmoyne Road and have developed a full size playing pitch and a training area along with modern changing facilities that can cater for four teams. At present the site is chiefly used for training purposes for adult and juvenile teams as well as ladies and hurling teams but games can be played there when necessary.

Imokilly GAA is a Gaelic football and Hurling division in the east of Cork, Ireland. The division includes towns such as Midleton, Cobh, and Youghal. It is one of eight divisions of Cork County Board. It organizes competitions for the clubs within the division, from Under 12 up to the adult level. The winners of these competitions compete against other divisional champions to determine which club is the county champion. In addition, the division selects football and hurling teams from the adult teams playing at junior level or county intermediate level, and these then compete for the Cork Senior Football Championship and Cork Senior Hurling Championship. Clíodhna O'Connor is a former senior Dublin ladies' footballer. She was a member of the Dublin team that won the All-Ireland Senior Ladies' Football Championship in 2010. She also played for Dublin in the 2003, 2004, 2009 and 2014 finals. She captained Dublin during the 2011 season. In 2004 and 2009 she was selected as an All Star and in 2010 she was included in the LGFA/TG4 Team of the Decade. She also played for the Ireland women's international rules football team. Since retiring as a player, O'Connor has coached Ladies' Gaelic football and hurling. She was a member of the coaching team at Cuala when they won the 2017 and 2018 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship Finals. In 2019 she became a member of the Dublin senior hurling team coaching staff.

The All-Ireland Colleges Camogie Championships are a range of Irish camogie tournaments played each year to determine the national champion secondary school or second level college at senior and junior level over a range of grades.

Shane Nolan is a hurler from County Kerry. He has played with the Kerry intercounty team and with his local Crotta O'Neill's club.

The Cork county ladies' football team represents Cork GAA in ladies' Gaelic football. The team competes in inter-county competitions such as the All-Ireland Senior Ladies' Football Championship, the Munster Senior Ladies' Football Championship and the Ladies' National Football League.
