The Human Abstract is an American metalcore band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2004, the group was originally signed to the independent label Hopeless Records, the band then released the two albums Nocturne (2006) and Midheaven (2008) before signing to eOne Music and releasing Digital Veil (2011). The Human Abstract has gone through several lineup changes over the years, with the current consisting of founding members Dean Herrera, A.J. Minette and Brett Powell, in addition to Henry Selva and Travis Richter.
The Megas is a Los Angeles based independent video game cover band based on the Capcom franchise, Mega Man. They differentiate themselves from artists who have played Mega Man music in the past by adding original lyrics and composing new sections which blend seamlessly with the original compositions. Their lyrics expand on the simple story laid out in the games, giving each of the 8 Robot Masters a unique personality. Their debut album, Get Equipped, based on Mega Man 2, was released in January 2008.
Happy Hour, new wave band Humans' debut full-length album, was released in 1981 on I.R.S. Records, and recorded at the famed Automatt studio in San Francisco. The songs "Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark"/"Get You Tonight" and "Lightning" were released as a radio station promo single. Lead singer Sterling Storm directed a longform music video based on this album. The videotape, entitled Happy Hour with the Humans, was distributed by Mike Nesmith's pioneering company, Pacific Arts Video.

It was written by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and The Writing Camp members Evan "Kidd" Bogart, Victoria Horn, Erika Nuri, and David "DQ" Quiñones and produced by Jerkins for her fifth studio album Human (2008). Not recorded until late into the production of the album, it set much of the tone for the final Human track listing as it was the first out of several new songs Norwood and Jerkins recorded together following his absence on her previous album Afrodisiac (2004). "Lifeline" is the second single from Californian rock band Papa Roach's fifth album, Metamorphosis, and eleventh released single in total. The song was originally titled "Hanging On", and was changed to "Lifeline" after lead singer Jacoby Shaddix decided to alter the lyrics of the chorus. It was released to iTunes on January 27, 2009 and as a Hot Topic exclusive CD single on February 10. An accompanying music video was released on March 6, 2009. To launch this song in its truest form, the band filmed "Lifeline" live during Crüe Fest.

All Hours is the sixth and final studio album by American band Ivy, released by Nettwerk on September 20, 2011. Following 2005's In the Clear, the members took a hiatus from music, allowing Andy Chase and Adam Schlesinger to work on side projects and Dominique Durand and Chase to begin raising a family. After reuniting in 2008, they started work on a project exploring a new sound following concerns that their songs would become obsolete and unimaginative due to their break. All Hours features 11 songs written and produced by Chase and Schlesinger; they take influence from electropop, indie pop and synth-pop music. Unlike their previous albums, All Hours experiments more with electronic music and contains tracks reminiscent of the music from the 1980s.
SadDoLLs is a Greek gothic metal band formed in 2006 as a cover band. After a few live performances and material composing the band recorded the E.P. Dead In The Dollhouse in 2007, gaining positive reviews from the press. In April 2008 the band was the support act for Lacrimas Profundere's gig in Athens. The band has three full-length albums. The first, called "About Darkness", was released in Europe by the Greek Label Emotion Art music,the second one called "Happy Deathday", was released on January 20, 2012 by the Italian Label Lunatic Asylum Records and Twilight worldwide, and the latest called "Grave Party" was released worldwide via Inverse Records on April 2014. As of May 2016 the band is under a contract with the German-based label Trisol Music Group
Katalepsy is a Russian death metal band from Moscow. The group formed in 2003, and have released two split albums, one EP, three full-length albums, and one demo. The band's name is a variation of the word "catalepsy", a disorder involving catatonic schizophrenia. Some lyrical themes of the band include gore, violence, splatter, murder and perversions. They are currently signed to Unique Leader Records. Following the departure of guitarist "Helv" in 2009, no original members remain in the band.
