Brandi is also known for his appearances with the American Wrestling Federation, World Championship Wrestling and Extreme Championship Wrestling as Johnny Gunn.
The IWA World Championship is the major title in the IWA Mid-South based in Louisville, Kentucky. The title debuted at the "Crowning of a Champion" event on April 3, 1997, when Tower of Doom won a twelve-man tournament. There have been a total of 125 reigns among 59 champions and 19 vacancies. Tower of Doom was the inaugural champion, having defeated Ox Harley and Bull Pain in a tournament final three-way match on April 4, 1997 at Crowning of Champion. On June 14, 2022, Dave Crist vacated the title after failing to receive payment. As a result, the company ceased operations and the title was deactivated.
The Ted Petty Invitational tournament is an independent wrestling tournament in North America, run and promoted by Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South. Created as the Sweet Science Sixteen in 2000 by Ian Rotten, the tournament was originally supposed to showcase the top technical independent wrestlers. After the death of Ted Petty in September 2002, Rotten changed the name to honor his friend. The tournament was expanded to 24 participants, with a three-way final, in 2003. Over the years, the tournament has attracted numerous famous independent wrestlers from Ken Anderson, A.J. Styles to James Gibson.
The International Wrestling Association of Japan, more commonly known as IWA Japan, was a Japanese professional wrestling promotion operating from 1994 to 2004 and again from 2010 to 2014. It was formed by Víctor Quiñones as a successor to the W*ING promotion, which was folding at the time as a rival to Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling (FMW), the pioneer of deathmatch wrestling in Japan and the only deathmatch promotion in Japan at the time. Most of the wrestlers jumped ship to Quiñones' new IWA Japan group. He found a sponsor in Tatsukuni "Kinroku" Asano, a business man who owned several restaurants in Tokyo and had bought and run several wrestling shows prior to IWA Japan.
Kevin Canady is an American professional wrestler better known by his ring name Mad Man Pondo. Best known for his hardcore wrestling style, Canady has wrestled for various wrestling promotions, including Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South, Combat Zone Wrestling, Big Japan Pro Wrestling, and Juggalo Championship Wrestling. He is also the owner of IWA East Coast, and is currently employed by Juggalo Championship Wrestling.
Independent Wrestling Association (IWA) Mid-South is an American independent professional wrestling promotion based in New Albany, Indiana. It was formed by Ian Rotten in 1996.
The IWA Mid-South Women's Championship is a women's professional wrestling title owned and promoted by the Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South professional wrestling promotion. The title was created on May 30, 2004 in a one night tournament titled "Volcano Girls" at the National Guard Armory in Hammond, Indiana co-promoted by IWA Mid-South Wrestling and NWA Midwest Wrestling. Until June 17, 2005, it was a joint championship with the NWA Midwest Women's Championship and was known as the NWA Midwest/IWA Mid-South Women's Championship. The championship is usually won and defended by women, although two men have once won the title such as Chuck Taylor and Lukas Jacobs. There have been a total of 24 reigns held between 17 distinctive champions and one vacancy. The current champion is Thunderkitty who is in her second reign.
The IWA Mid-South Light Heavyweight Championship is one of the major titles in the Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South. The title debuted as the Lightweight Title in 1996, evolving to the current weight class in 1998.
The IWA Mid-South Tag Team Championship is a tag team title in the IWA Mid-South promotion. The title debuted in 1997, but was abandoned before the year was out, and had a brief revival in 2002. The title was brought back from 2004 to 2008 and then once again from 2017-Present. When it was reactivated in 2017 it was done via the Candido Cup, an 8-team tournament held on April 27, 2017. There have been a total of 44 reigns shared between 35 different teams consisting of 67 distinctive champions and five vacancies. The current champions are Dale Patricks and Kevin Giza who are in their first reign as a team.

He also won the 2020 IWTV Independent Wrestler of the Year.
