Ice Devils Sofia (Bulg. Хокеен Клуб "Ледени Дяволи" or Ledenite Dyavoli Sofia) is a Bulgarian ice hockey club, from Sofia. They played one season (2007–08) in the Bulgarian Hockey League. The club is playing in the second-highest ice hockey league of Bulgaria, the Balkan Amateur Hockey League (BaHL).

Ice hockey is a contact team sport played on ice, usually in a rink, in which two teams of skaters use their sticks to shoot a vulcanized rubber puck into their opponent's net to score points. The sport is known to be fast-paced and physical, with teams usually consisting of six players each: one goaltender, and five players who skate up and down the ice trying to take the puck and score a goal against the opposing team.

The club was founded in 2007 and joined Group B of the Bulgarian Hockey League for the 2007-08 season. They finished with a record of four wins, one overtime win, and one loss, which was good enough for first place in their group. [1] Ledenite participated in the Balkan League for the 2008-09 season, finishing in second place behind HC Etro 92 Veliko Tarnovo. [2] In the 2009-10 season, they finished in second place in the regular season and lost in the playoff finals to Thessaloniki. [3] The club finished first in the regular season in 2010-11, but were knocked out in the playoffs semifinals. [4] During the 2011-12 season, Ledenite finished in fourth place in the regular season and lost in the third place game to Red Star Sofia. [5] They finished in second place in Group A of the Balkan League in 2012-13. [6]
HC Etro 92 Veliko Tarnovo was an ice hockey team in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. The club was founded in 1992. They played in the Bulgarian Hockey League in the 1998-99 and 2000-01 seasons. The club later returned to play in the Balkan League in the 2008-09 through 2010-11 seasons.

The "Ice Devils" were able to win their first BaHL Championship in the season 2013-14.

Fife Flyers Ice Hockey Club is the oldest professional ice hockey club in the UK, established in 1938. The Flyers play their home games at Fife Ice Arena in Kirkcaldy which has a capacity of just Over 3000. The arena is home to not only Fife Flyers, who play in the Elite Ice Hockey League but also to Kirkcaldy Junior Ice Hockey Club. Traditionally many of the Flyers' players have come up through the junior ranks to play at a "professional" level.
Paul Thompson is a British retired ice hockey head coach and general manager. He was head coach of the Great Britain men's national ice hockey team from 2006 to 2011. He is the winningest coach in the Elite Ice Hockey League, and has received nine Coach of the Year trophies in his career. His teams have won three Challenge Cups, two British Knockout Cups, and he is the first coach to win five Elite League titles. In the 2004–2005 season, Thompson completed the British Hockey Grand Slam; winning the Challenge Cup, the EIHL title, and the EIHL playoff championship. He served as the general manager and head coach of the Sheffield Steelers from 2015 to 2018, and previously coached 19 seasons with the Coventry Blaze organisation, and is known by the nickname "Thommo".
The Panonian League was one of the multinational ice hockey leagues in Europe. The league was established in 2002 and originally comprised teams from Hungary, Romania and Croatia. HK Vojvodina became the first Serbian team to join the league in 2003-04. The league was temporarily abandoned after 2003-04 when Hungarian and Romanian teams went on to establish their own joint league, called the MOL Liga. The Panonian League was revived in 2007 with Croatian and Serbian teams, lasting until 2009. In total there were four seasons, from 2002 to 2004, and from 2007 to 2009.

They played in the Bulgarian Amateur League in the 2006-07 season, and then played in Group B of the Bulgarian Hockey League in the 2007-08 season. Since the 2008-09 season, they have played in the Balkan League, which contains teams from Greece and Bulgaria.
