Commercial performance

In Case You Didn't Know entered the UK Albums Chart at number-one with first week sales of over 148,000 copies, dethroning Rihanna's Talk That Talk album from that position, becoming Murs' first album to top the chart. [7] On 9 December 2011, the album was certified Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry for shipments of 300,000 copies in the UK. [8] The album debuted at number six and peaked at number two on the Irish Albums Chart, marking it Murs' first album to chart within the top ten and highest-peaking album. As of November 2018, the album has sold 1.12 million in the United Kingdom. [9]

The Ordinary Boys are an English indie rock band from Worthing, West Sussex. Originally a hardcore outfit named Next in Line, they are influenced by punk rock and Britpop music, as well as the bands the Clash, the Specials, the Jam, the Kinks and the Smiths. Their name derives from a Morrissey song, "The Ordinary Boys". "Heart on My Sleeve" is a pop song written by James Morrison and John Shanks. It was first released by American Idol season 7 contestant Michael Johns from his post-Idol album, Hold Back My Heart. The single was released on iTunes, on 14 April 2009. The song was later recorded by Olly Murs and released on 6 March 2011 as his third single from his debut album Olly Murs.
