Tereza Ana Kesovija is an internationally acclaimed Croatian recording artist. She was one of the most recognizable figures on the music scene in former Yugoslavia, and is renowned for her wide vocal range and operatic style. She also had a successful career in France. Andrija Hebrang is a Croatian physician and politician. A member of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), he is a former member of the Croatian Parliament. A physician by vocation, Hebrang had served three terms as Croatia's Minister of Health and spent three months as Minister of Defence under six different Prime Ministers. In addition, he was his party's candidate in the 2009–10 Croatian presidential election, eventually finishing third behind Ivo Josipović, and Milan Bandić, winning 12 percent of the vote in the first round.
Dino Jelusić, also known by his stage name Dino Jelusick, is a Croatian rock singer, musician, and songwriter. He is the founder, principal songwriter, and lead singer of progressive rock band Animal Drive, which was formed in 2012, and since 2017 has been signed to Frontiers Records. Besides working on several hard rock and metal projects, since 2016, Jelusick has been a touring member for American rock band Trans-Siberian Orchestra. He was the winner of the inaugural edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003.

Jakov Sedlar is a Croatian film director and producer. A former cultural attaché during the 1990s in the Franjo Tuđman government, his documentaries promote Croatian nationalist views through propaganda. His 2016 documentary Jasenovac – The Truth sparked controversy and condemnation for downplaying and denying the crimes committed at the Jasenovac concentration camp by the Ustaše during World War II, instead focusing on crimes supposedly committed against Croats by communist Partisans at the camp following the war, while using alleged misinformation and forgeries to present its case, in addition to naming former and current Croatian officials, intellectuals, historians and journalists it dubs as "Yugoslav nationalists concealing the truth".

Bora Ćosić is a Serbian, Croatian and Yugoslav novelist, essayist, translator, public intellectual, and dissident. He wrote about 50 books, as well as several theater plays, which were played with great success in the Belgrade Atelje 212. For the novel The Role of My Family in the World Revolution, he received the NIN Award for Novel of the Year in 1970. Ćosić strongly denounced the rise of Serbian nationalism in the 1990s and the politics of Slobodan Milošević. Born in 1932 in Zagreb, he lived in Belgrade from 1937 to 1992, when he moved to Berlin.
Vida Jeraj, born Frančiška Vovk, was a Slovene poet and lyricist. Born in Bled, she travelled extensively through the Austrian Empire and, later the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, living in Ljubljana, Vienna and Kassel, initially with her mother and then later her husband, the violinist Karl Jeraj. After graduating as a teacher in 1895, she taught in primary schools. Much of her work was tragic, particularly following the death of her son in 1906, and her poetry covered a wide range of topics, and was influenced by literary modernism, Biblical themes and fairy tales. In the aftermath of the First World War, she helped run a charity for blind soldiers. She also wrote poetry for children, and had some of her work set to music by her husband. In the 1920s, she returned to Ljubljana and was active in the Drustva Slovenkih Leposlovcev Socialnogospodarskega in Kulturnega Zenskega, and died in 1932.
