Insomnia & Other Lullabyes is the debut album of independent Filipino singer-songwriter Cynthia Alexander released in 1996. The album received local critical acclaim, comparing Alexander to Joni Mitchell. The album earned Alexander the Best Alternative Music Album and Best New Artist awards, at the 1998 Katha Music Awards, in the Philippines.

Cynthia Alexander is a guitarist and singer-songwriter originally from the Philippines. She has performed on many international stages including the Rainforest World Music Festival in Malaysia, the Jack Daniel's World Music Tour in Singapore and the Southeast Asian Night Market Festival in New Zealand. She also played gongs and bass on world tours with Joey Ayala at ang Bagong Lumad.

"Para Sa Tao" is a Philippine world music song by HUMANFOLK from their eponymous first album; composed by guitarist Johnny Alegre in 2009, and which became the group's carrier hit single. The song was arranged by keyboardist-vocalist Abby Clutario. A music video directed by Daphne Oliveros was produced for the song, and for which a radio edit was created. Both the full and radio edit versions of the song were included in the eponymous "Humanfolk" album, released in May, 2011 by MCA Music.

Lullaby (Book of Love song) 1989 single by Book of Love

"Lullaby" is the sixth single released by the American synthpop band Book of Love. The song was the second single released from the band's second album Lullaby in 1988.

"Baby Mine" is a song from the 1941 Disney animated feature Dumbo. The music is by Frank Churchill, with lyrics by Ned Washington. Betty Noyes recorded the vocals for the original film version. In the film, Dumbo's mother, Mrs. Jumbo, an elephant locked in a circus wagon, cradles her baby Dumbo with her trunk while this lullaby is sung. It is also the last appearance of the circus animals.

Humanfolk

HUMANFOLK is the musical collaboration and concept band of guitarist-composer Johnny Alegre with the New York–based Fil-Am percussionist Susie Ibarra and her husband, drummer Roberto Juan Rodriguez, together with the multi-instrumentalist Cynthia Alexander and the electronica exponent Malek Lopez. This collective is a pioneering effort marking the convergence in a contemporary Philippine setting of multiple musical idioms. The group's name is a deliberate conjoining of the words "human" and "folk", akin to "menfolk" and "womenfolk", without prejudice to gender and frequently set in all caps to distinguish it from a dictionary term.
