Inwood/Love Field station is a DART Light Rail station in Dallas, Texas. It is located over Inwood Road, after which the station is named, and alongside Denton Drive in the Oak Lawn neighborhood. The station is served by the Green Line and Orange Line. [3] [4] From this station, it is about an 11 minute ride to West End station in Downtown Dallas (transfer point for the Red and Blue Lines and the site of a major bus transfer center) and about a 39 minute ride on the Orange Line to DFW Airport station, at the region's other major airport. [5]

The station is also near, but not adjacent to, Dallas Love Field airport, which is also included in the station name. When the station first opened in December 2010, local bus route 39 was rerouted to connect to both the station and the airport. [6] On December 3, 2012, route 39 was split at this station with the northern portion renamed the "Love Link" shuttle. [7] [8]

Additionally, the area around the station has seen significant transit-oriented development, with several apartment buildings being built within walking distance of the station. [9]

The west side of the station has a park and ride lot with 385 spaces, a "kiss and ride" passenger drop-off/pickup area, and vehicles for the Zipcar car sharing service. The east side of the station has a small bus transfer center with five bus stands. [9] [10]
