Islamabad Model College is a chain of colleges in Islamabad, Pakistan. These are categorized as boys and girls colleges. [1] Their establishment dates back to 1966, [2] although some of these colleges are under construction. [3]

The colleges for girls provide education starting from nursery and grade 1 till Masters. Islamabad College for Girls F-6/2 is an example of an educational institution where all level of education is provided at a very reasonable tuition fee.

At least six people, including three women, were killed, and as many as 29 people injured, 25 of them women, in twin suicide attacks at International Islamic University, Islamabad in the Pakistani capital Islamabad. Police say the blasts at the university were caused by suicide bombers. This was the first-ever attack on students in the country since the start of terrorism in 2001.
