Adam Offord Buxton is an English comedian, writer, podcaster, and actor. Buxton is one half of the duo Adam and Joe, along with filmmaker Joe Cornish. They are best known for presenting Adam and Joe on BBC Radio 6 Music and The Adam and Joe Show on Channel 4 (1996–2001).
Spooks is a British television spy drama series that originally aired on BBC One from 13 May 2002 to 23 October 2011, consisting of 10 series. Freefonix is a 2008-2009 British children's animated television series created by Magnus Fiennes, Alex Tate and Simeon Warburton and produced by Cinnamon Entertainment with Toonz Animation, Isle of Man Film and Method Films for CBBC. Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus is an 1818 novel written by English author Mary Shelley (1797–1851) that tells the story of Victor Frankenstein, a young scientist who creates a hideous sapient creature in an unorthodox scientific experiment. Shelley started writing the story when she was 18, and the first edition was published anonymously in London on 1 January 1818, when she was 20. Her name first appeared in the second edition published in Paris in 1821.
Meryl Streep is an American actress who has had an extensive career in film, television, and stage. She made her stage debut in 1975 with The Public Theater production of Trelawny of the 'Wells'. She went on to perform several roles on stage in the 1970s, garnering a Tony Award nomination for her role in 27 Wagons Full of Cotton (1976). Benidorm is a British sitcom written and created by Derren Litten and produced by Tiger Aspect for ITV that aired for ten series from 1 February 2007 until 2 May 2018. The series features an ensemble cast of holiday makers and staff at the Solana all-inclusive hotel in Benidorm, Spain over the course of a week each year.
The fourth season of the ITV1 television series Benidorm, which is a sitcom set in an all-inclusive holiday resort, began broadcasting on 25 February 2011, consisting of six episodes. The entire series was directed by Sandy Johnson and written by Derren Litten. Multiple changes occurred within the cast this series, which saw the introductions of Shelley Longworth as Sam Wood, Tony Maudsley as Kenneth Du Beke, Kathryn Drysdale as Natalie Jones, Adam Gillen as Liam Conroy and Selina Griffiths as Pauline Mahmood. Furthermore, Tim Healy re-joined the cast, now on a permanent basis, whereas Cilla Black, Denise Welch, Bananarama, and Melvyn Hayes made brief guest appearances. Returning from the third series were the Garvey family, consisting of Mick, Janice, Michael and Janice's mother Madge Barron ; swingers Donald and Jacqueline Stewart ; Noreen Maltby ; homosexual couple Gavin and Troy Ramsbottom, though Bazely only appeared in the series finale; and Solana staff Mateo Castellanos and manageress Janey York.
