The second season of the italian talent show Italia's Got Talent aired on Canale 5 on Saturday evenings from 7 May to 11 June 2011. It saw the entire cast return from the previous season, from hosts Annicchiarico and Cucciari to judges De Filippi, Scotti and Zerbi.
The first four audition episodes were recorded once again at the Auditorium Massimo in Rome, while the last two (semi-final and final) were broadcast live from the Elios studios in Rome . The second season of the program saw painter Fabrizio Vendramin awarded the final prize of €100,000. The acrobats Fratelli Pellegrini and the magician Simone Calati came in second and third respectively.
After the first round of auditions, 24 semi-finalists were selected and divided into 3 groups of 8 contestants (unlike season 1, where the contestants were divided into 6 groups of 6 and there were 36 semi-finalists). During the semi-final, for each group, televoting allowed four contestants to advance to the final: the first three were chosen by the public and the judges' chose between the fourth and fifth place.

Last Comic Standing is an American reality television talent competition show on NBC that aired from June 1, 2003 to August 9, 2010 as well as in 2014 and 2015. Each season a comedian from an initially large group of hopefuls was picked as a winner. For the first seven seasons, the winner received a cash prize and a television special; for season eight in 2014, the winner won a cash prize, a talent deal with NBC, and a half-hour scripted project developed by Universal Television.

Britain's Got Talent is a televised British talent show competition, and part of the global Got Talent franchise created by Simon Cowell. Presented by Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, it is produced by both Thames and Syco Entertainment, distributed by Fremantle, and broadcast on ITV every year in late Spring to early Summer. The show was originally intended for production in 2005, but filming was suspended in the wake of a dispute between ITV and the programme's originally planned host. Following the success of America's Got Talent that year, production resumed and the programme eventually premiered on 9 June 2007.

The fourth season of American talent show competition series America's Got Talent was broadcast on NBC from June 23 to September 16, 2009. Following the previous season, Jerry Springer left the show due to other commitments, and was replaced as host by Nick Cannon. A number of changes were also made to the program before filming commenced, which included replacing the "boot camp" stage with a round similar in format to that used by Britain's Got Talent, and changing the buzzer format to match that being used by the Got Talent franchise. In addition, the episodes for results in each live round of the competition were also modified. They were broadcast over a one-hour period, and would feature performances by guest stars.
Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) is a Philippine reality talent competition show on ABS-CBN that began on February 20, 2010, replacing The Singing Bee & Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up and replaced by Twist and Shout on July 3, 2010. It is based on the Got Talent franchise, a British TV format conceived and owned by Simon Cowell's SYCO company. "Pilipinas" is the Filipino word for Philippines. Anyone can join and showcase their talents in the audition. At the sound of four buzzers from the judges, the auditionees are asked to stop their act. With at least three approval votes from the judges, they are automatically in the list for Judges Cuts, where judges have to pick only 36 acts that will move to the semi-finals. Acts will compete against each other in order to gain the audience support to win the prize money and the title of Pilipinas Got Talent.
Italia's Got Talent is the Italian version of the international Got Talent series. The pilot episode was aired on 12 December 2009 on Canale 5 and it was seen by 5.3 million people. After this episode, Mediaset decided to hold on this show with a full-length season. The first season started on 12 April 2010 with high ratings and continued broadcasting. Rudy Zerbi, Maria De Filippi, and Gerry Scotti are the three judges.
The ninth season of American talent show competition series America's Got Talent was broadcast on NBC from May 27 to September 17, 2014. Following the previous season, the program underwent a number of format changes, including the second audition stage and to the Wildcard format. The most significant change to be made was the inclusion of the "Golden Buzzer", an element that was being introduced into the Got Talent franchise around that time. Apart from the format changes, the ninth season's audition process featured the first and only involvement of a third-party television program to collaborate with America's Got Talent in offering a place in the competition.

X Factor is an Italian television music competition to find new singing talent; the winner receives a € 300,000 recording contract with Sony Music. Israel participated in and won the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The Israeli broadcaster Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC/Kan) collaborated with the commercial broadcaster Keshet and Tedy Productions, which organised the reality singing competition HaKokhav HaBa L'Eurovizion to select the singer. The winner of the Israeli national selection was Netta Barzilai, and a committee of the Israeli broadcaster internally selected the song "Toy" for her.
Česko Slovenská SuperStar is the joint Czech-Slovak version of Idols merged from Česko hledá SuperStar and Slovensko hľadá SuperStar which previous to that had three individual seasons each. The fifth season castings were held in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Žilina, Bratislava and Košice. The season premiered on February 24, 2018 on TV Nova in the Czech Republic and on February 25, 2018 on Markíza in Slovakia, which have also been the broadcast stations for the individual seasons.
The seventh and final season of StarStruck, is a 2019 Philippine television reality talent competition show, was broadcast on GMA Network. Hosted by Dingdong Dantes and Jennylyn Mercado, it premiered on June 15, 2019. The council was composed of Heart Evangelista, Cherie Gil and Jose Manalo. The season ended with 28 episodes on September 15, 2019, having Shayne Sava and Kim de Leon as the Ultimate Survivors.
Dominicana's Got Talent is a Dominican reality television series which airs on the Color Visión television network. The show is part of the global British Got Talent franchise. It is the first edition of the franchise to be based in a Caribbean country. Dominicana's Got Talent follows the Got Talent format, in which contestants audition in front of four judges and a studio audience. Up until the semifinal and final rounds, the judges decide whether or not a contestant advances in the competition. During the semifinal and final rounds, viewers vote on which contestants will advance.

L'isola dei famosi 16 is the sixteenth season of the reality television L'isola dei famosi and the Italian version of the reality show franchise Survivor, aired in prime time on Canale 5 from 21 March to 27 June 2022. It was the seventh consecutive edition broadcast by Mediaset, hosted by Ilary Blasi for the second consecutive year, supported in the studio by commentators Nicola Savino and Vladimir Luxuria, and with the participation of the correspondent Alvin. It lasted 99 days, had 32 castaways and 25 episodes and was held in Cayos Cochinos (Honduras). The motto of this edition was L'isola dei famosi 2022: Tutto può cambiare!.
