Italo De Lorenzo is an Italian bobsledder who competed in the mid-1960s. He won a silver medal in the four-man event at the 1965 FIBT World Championships in St. Moritz.

Italo De Lorenzo is an Italian bobsledder who competed in the mid-1960s. He won a silver medal in the four-man event at the 1965 FIBT World Championships in St. Moritz.
Brother of Enrico de Lorenzo, Italo was a member of Italy's national bobsleigh team from 1959 to 1967, racing to gold in the 1964 two-man European Championships, and winning silver in the four-man World Championships in 1965.
He was a bobsleigh commentator for Dutch television and radio from 1968 to 1982,
and in 1978 he helped establish the Dutch bobsleigh and skeleton federation (Bob en Slee Bond Nederland / BSBN).
For many years de Lorenzo was a member of the BSBN executive committee and its team manager.
The Italian bobsledder is both honorary member and honorary president of the BSBN, and was voted Cavaliere al Merito della Repubblica Italiana in 2003 and Knight of the Order of Oranje-Nassau in 2011.
Italo de Lorenzo lives in Utrecht (NED) and Pieve de Cadore (ITA).
De Lorenzo today is an honorary president of the Dutch national bobsleigh and skeleton federation (BSBN).

Bethge also competed at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, finishing fourth in the four-man event and seventh in the two-man event.

Justin Kripps is a Canadian bobsledder and an Olympic champion in two-man bobsleigh following his gold medal win at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Kripps won a silver medal in the two-man event at the 2017 World Championships and a bronze in the mixed team event at the 2012 World Championships. He has competed in the sport since 2006 and has many World Cup podiums. During the 2017–18 Bobsleigh World Cup, he finished the season first in the two-man and overall, to win the Crystal Globe as overall champion.
The Eugenio Monti Olympic Track was a bobsleigh and skeleton track located in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. It was named after Eugenio Monti (1928–2003), who won six bobsleigh medals at the Winter Olympic Games between 1956 and 1968 and ten medals at the FIBT World Championships between 1957 and 1966. It was featured in the 1981 James Bond film For Your Eyes Only, held after the 1981 FIBT World Championships, before the track was shortened to its current configuration. In January 2008, after one last bobsleigh race tournament, the track was closed.
Elana Meyers Taylor is an American Olympic bobsledder and World Champion who has competed since 2007. Born in Oceanside, California, Meyers Taylor was raised in Douglasville, Georgia and is a graduate of George Washington University, where she was a member of the softball team.
John Napier is an American bobsled driver and a soldier in the U.S. Army World Class Athlete Program. He won the two-man event at the 2009 U.S. National Bobsled Championships with Cory Butner. At the 2009 FIBT World Championships, he placed 17th in the two-man event with T.J. Burns and 11th in the four-man event with Jesse Beckom, Jamie Moriarty, and Nick Cunningham.

In 2016, Ferriani became a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
