The Piazza Fontana bombing was a terrorist attack that occurred on 12 December 1969 when a bomb exploded at the headquarters of Banca Nazionale dell'Agricoltura in Piazza Fontana in Milan, Italy, killing 17 people and wounding 88. Emilio Gnutti is an Italian financier and founder of the Hopa SpA holding company. On October 25, 2006 he was sentenced to six months in jail for insider trading in the Unipol (bancopoli) case, together with Giovanni Consorte and Ivano Sacchetti. He appealed, but then he decided to accept a plea bargain and on November 12, 2007 the Milan Court of Appeal converted the sentence into a fine.

The Unipol Domus is a football stadium in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy. Built in 2017 as Sardegna Arena, it hosts Cagliari Calcio football matches from 2017–18, since Stadio Sant'Elia was closed and partially demolished in order to build a new stadium. It was used as a provisional stadium until 2021 when the construction was fully completed and name changed to Unipol Domus.
The Circonvallazione massacre, in Italian Strage della Circonvallazione, is a Cosa Nostra attack that took place on 16 June 1982 on the Palermo ring road. The attack was directed against Catanese boss Alfio Ferlito, who was transferred from Enna to the Trapani jail, and died with the three escort carabinieri and the 22-year-old Giuseppe Di Lavore, the driver of the private company that had the transportation of prisoners, who had replaced his father. The mandator of this massacre was Nitto Santapaola, who was in a years-long war with Ferlito for predominance on the Catania territory.
