Kenny educated at Trinity College, Dublin. [2] He was Archdeacon of Kilfenora [3] from 1790 until his death in 1822.

Ivana Catherine Bacik is an Irish Labour Party politician who has been Leader of the Labour Party since 24 March 2022 and a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin Bay South constituency since winning a by-election on 9 July 2021. Bacik previously served as Leader of the Labour Party in the Seanad from 2011 to 2021, and a Senator for the Dublin University constituency from 2007 to 2021. She previously served as Deputy leader of Seanad Éireann from 2011 to 2016.

Susan Jane Denham, SC is a retired Irish judge who served as Chief Justice of Ireland from 2011 to 2017, she was the first woman to hold the position. She served as a Judge of the Supreme Court from 1992 to 2017, and was the third longest-serving member of the court on her retirement. She also served as a Judge of the High Court from 1991 to 1992.

Áine Lawlor is an Irish radio and television broadcaster who has hosted many shows on RTÉ Radio 1. She has worked on various news and current affairs radio and television programmes, including News at One, The Week in Politics, Today with Pat Kenny, Today at 5, The Nature of Things, Tuesday File, Today Tonight, The Marian Finucane Show and One to One. On 7 December 2008, Lawlor presented the first Sunday morning broadcast of Morning Ireland, during which she announced news of the Irish pork crisis. She has also narrated States of Fear.
The Library of Trinity College Dublin serves Trinity College. It is a legal deposit or "copyright library", under which, publishers in Ireland must deposit a copy of all their publications there, without charge. It is the only Irish library to hold such rights for works published in the United Kingdom.
The Regius Professorship of Physic is a Regius Professorship in Medicine at Trinity College Dublin. The seat dates from at least 1637, placing it amongst the oldest academic posts at the university. Mention is made in the college's Register for 1598 of an annual grant of £40 from the government for a "Physitian's pay"; this is sometimes held to be the provision made for the Chair of Physic, but it is possible that it may have been in granted for medical services required by the troops stationed in Dublin.

Shane Kenny is an Irish journalist and broadcaster who worked mainly at RTÉ Radio 1. After gaining a BA from Trinity College Dublin he studied journalism in Newcastle upon Tyne and worked there for the Journal and Chronicle from 1970 to 1973. He was a weekend newscaster on BBC North East radio (1972–3) and later in 1973 he was recruited as a reporter and presenter of 7 Days on RTÉ television (1973–5) before joining RTÉ Radio, where he became a news editor in 1980, in which role he launched and was the first editor of Morning Ireland. He was a longtime news anchor on News at One and This Week, presented RTÉ radio's general election coverage, and also travelled extensively in the Middle East, Europe and the United States to report on international news stories and elections. From 1986 he was the US ABC network's Ireland correspondent. In 1989 he won the top prize "for supreme contribution to Irish journalism" at the National Media Awards. He was press secretary to the 1994–97 Rainbow Coalition government, and to its 1996 Presidency of the Council of the European Union. He returned to RTÉ when the government lost the 1997 election and he chose the less political post of business news editor. In 2003 he left RTÉ to research the role of the Russian Marshal Georgi Zhukov in WWII, and establish his own media business, Leader Productions, and a consultancy, Shane Kenny Media CRO. His radio documentary, Hitler's Nemesis – Georgi Zhukov was broadcast on RTE Radio 1 in April 2005 for the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII.RTE radio documentaries. He still appeared on RTÉ as an independent broadcaster, including his Celtic Tiger series Moneymakers interviewing business leaders, and fronting the "Entrepreneur of the Year" series which he brought to RTE television until he stopped in 2007.RTE Guide He became director of public affairs at Dublin City University, and a member of the executive board, 2005–2011 with provision that he could continue his broadcasting and consulting work. He retired early in 2011 because of illness.

The Ashbourne Cup is an Irish camogie tournament played each year to determine the national champion university or third level college. The Ashbourne Cup is the highest division in inter-collegiate camogie. The competition features many of the current stars of the game and is sometimes known as the 'Olympics of Camogie' because of the disproportionate number of All Star and All-Ireland elite level players who participate each year Since 1972 it has been administered by the Higher EducationArchived 31 May 2011 at the Wayback Machine committee of the Camogie Association. TU Dublin are the current champions, having won the Ashbourne cup in 2023.
Rose Anne Kenny is an Irish geriatrician. She is the Regius Professor of Physic and a professor of medical gerontology at Trinity College Dublin (TCD), director of the Falls and Black-out Unit at St James's Hospital in Dublin, director of the Mercer's Institute for Successful Ageing and founding principal investigator for The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA). She was admitted in 2014 to the Royal Irish Academy in recognition of academic excellence and achievement. Kenny is a fellow of Trinity College Dublin and of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of Ireland, London and Edinburgh.
