James Alexander Kirton (born 10 April 1985) is a British former competitive swimmer who specialised in breaststroke events.
Kirton represented Great Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the 200-metre breaststroke swimming event.

James Daniel Gibson, MBE is an English former competitive swimmer and breaststroke who represented Great Britain in the Olympics, FINA world championships and European championships, and England in the Commonwealth Games. He is a former world, European and Commonwealth champion in the men's 50-metre breaststroke event, and now serves as the head swimming coach at the Energy Standard Swim Club.

Born in Walsall, he represented Great Britain in the Olympics, FINA World championships and European championships, as well as representing England in the Commonwealth Games.
