History
From the beginning, Janus consisted of only two members - Dirk "Rig" Riegert, songwriter and vocalist, and Tobias "Toby" Hahn, programmer and piano player. Throughout their albums Janus has used many guest musicians, up to and including an entire orchestra.
Despite positive criticism, the debut album "Vater" failed to attract much attention. However, with further releases, Janus gained more popularity within the German alternative scene.
Musical characteristics
The music style of Janus is not easy to define. It can be labeled as Neue Deutsche Härte with influences of drum and bass, trip hop, tango and film score elements.
Like the mythological god, Janus has two faces: aggressive electronic pieces, and ballads with acoustic instruments. In their concerts, Janus is often assisted by guest musicians, who can also be found on the albums, although they are not official members of the band.
Janus uses the German language to describe such human emotions as hate, despair, insanity, fear, and loss.
Angela Maria "Ani" DiFranco is an American singer-songwriter. She has released more than 20 albums. DiFranco's music has been classified as folk rock and alternative rock, although it has additional influences from punk, funk, hip hop and jazz. She has released all her albums on her own record label, Righteous Babe, giving her significant creative freedom.
Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. is the 2nd release by American heavy metal band Slipknot and their 2nd release with original lead vocalist Anders Colsefni, and Josh "Gnar" Brainard after their original 1995 demo tape. It is also the last release with original guitarist Donnie Steele. Released on October 31, 1996, it was limited to production of 1,000 copies. The band self-distributed some of these copies and released the remaining 386 units through -ismist Recordings in 1997. The album has become sought after by fans since Slipknot's rise to fame, and original copies have sold online for up to $1,000 USD.
The Beatles' bootleg recordings are recordings of performances by the Beatles that have attained some level of public circulation without being available as a legal release. The term most often refers to audio recordings, but also includes video performances. Starting with vinyl releases in the 1970s, through CD issues in the late 1980s, and continuing with digital downloads starting in the mid 1990s, the Beatles have been, and continue to be, among the most bootlegged artists.

Bootlegs usually consist of unreleased studio recordings, live performances or interviews without the quality control of official releases.

The Grimmrobe Demos is Sunn O)))'s first recorded album and is the most direct representation of its self-proclaimed Earth-worship. An early rehearsal track titled "Bremerton" was included on the vinyl release.
