Janusz Kowalski (born 8 June 1952) is a Polish former racing cyclist. He won the Tour de Pologne 1976. [1]

The Tour de Pologne, officially abbreviated TdP, is an annual, professional men's multiple-stage bicycle race primarily held in Poland. It consists of seven or eight stages and is usually around 1,200 km in length. The race was first held in 1928 and is considered the oldest and most important bicycle race in Poland.
Dariusz Baranowski is a former professional racing cyclist from Poland. He is known as individual time trialist and a climbing specialist who excels in competing in the King of the Mountains competitions for stage races. He has competed in all three of the Grand Tours. He also won the Tour de Pologne 1991, 1992 and 1993. He also rode at the 1992 Summer Olympics and the 1996 Summer Olympics.
Tomasz Brożyna is a Polish former professional road racing cyclist, who currently works as a directeur sportif for UCI Continental team CCC Development Team. He entered professional cycling in 1996 and retired in 2006 at the age of 36. He is the first Polish cyclist to complete all three of the Grand Tours.
Rolf Järmann is a retired road bicycle racer from Switzerland, who was a professional rider from 1988 to 1999. He twice won the Amstel Gold Race during his career. He was the Swiss National Road Race champion in 1990. He won the Tour de Pologne in 1997. He won a stage in the 1989 Giro d'Italia, the 1992 Tour de France and also won the 1998 Tirreno-Adriatico.

Bolesław Napierała was a Polish cycling champion, twice winner of the Tour de Pologne. He was born in Marten, Germany to a family of Polish immigrants. When Poland regained independence in 1918, the family moved back to their homeland. However, after a few years, the Napieralas left Poland again, to Lens in France. It was there that Boleslaw for the first time saw cyclists, during Tour de France. Fascinated by them, he decided to take up cycling himself, helped by his famous neighbor, Luxemburg cyclist Nicolas Frantz.
Zbigniew Piątek is a Polish former road racing cyclist. He was active as an amateur from 1987 to 1993 and from 1994 to 2005 as a professional. He won many of the top races in Poland: the Tour de Pologne, Tour of Małopolska and Szlakiem Grodów Piastowskich. He represented Poland in two Summer Olympics: in 1992 and 2000.

Marek Kulas is a Polish former racing cyclist. He won the Tour de Pologne in 1986. He also rode in the 1990 Vuelta a España, placing second on stage 2a.
Piotr Przydział is a Polish former racing cyclist. He won the Tour de Pologne 2000. He also rode in the men's road race at the 2000 Summer Olympics.

Klub Kolarski Lechia Gdańsk is a Polish cycling club based in Gdańsk, Poland. For the most part of its history the club was not successful and has been seen as more of a cycling club for the residents of Gdańsk to join. The team however did have some success in its early days, with the tour wins at the Tour de Pologne in 1957 and 1961 being the most notable in the team's history. Henryk Kowalski, the rider for Lechia was the winning rider on both occasions. In the club's recent years the only notable success since the turn of the century has been at the Polish Mountain Biking Championships where Michał Bogdziewicz won the marathon classification and finished runner-up in the elite classification.
The 2021 Tour de Pologne was the 78th running of the Tour de Pologne road cycling stage race, which was part of the 2021 UCI World Tour. It started on 9 August in Lublin, and ended on 15 August in Kraków.
The 2022 Tour de Pologne was the 79th edition of the Tour de Pologne road cycling stage race, which was part of the 2022 UCI World Tour. It started on 30 July in Kielce and finished on 5 August in Kraków.
