Jason R. Smith (born January 11, 1982, in Aspen, Colorado) a student of Fort Lewis College, is an American snowboarder, primarily successful in the event Snowboard Cross, finishing Sixth place in the 2006 Torino Winter Games.
He was the roommate of Seth Wescott, eventual Gold Medalist in Snowboard X (SBX or Snowboard Cross).
He is the younger brother of Christy Smith, the first Deaf contestant on Survivor : The Amazon.

In her Olympic debut at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Jacobellis won the silver medal in snowboard cross but was unable to medal at the next three Olympics until winning gold at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Jacobellis also won gold in mixed team snowboard cross at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
Scotty Lago is an American snowboarder. He is the 2004 world half-pipe champion and winner of a bronze medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Jesse Csincsak is an American professional snowboarder, television personality, and founder of the nonprofit organization JSAK Snowboarding, which helps snowboarders with Olympic aspirations to raise money for training, travel, and related expenses. Csincsak owns The Home Check Company, a property management company serving Colorado's mountain communities and the Arizona valley of the sun. He was also a coach at High Cascade Snowboard Camp and a snowboard instructor at Breckenridge Ski Resort.
Snowboard cross, also known as boardercross, is a snowboard competition in which four to six competitors race down a course. Snowboard cross courses are typically quite narrow and include cambered turns, various types of jumps, berms, rollers, drops, steep and flat sections designed to challenge the riders' ability to stay in control while maintaining maximum speed. It is not uncommon for racers to collide with each other mid-race.

Simon Patmore, is an Australian Para-athletics and Para-snowboard competitor. He won a gold medal in the Men's 100m T46 at the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games, and bronze in the Men's 200m T46 at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. At the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Games, Patmore won a gold medal in the Men's Snowboard Cross SB-UL and bronze in the Men's Banked Slalom SB-UL.
Eva Adamczyková, née Samková is a Czech snowboarder who is the 2014 Olympic champion in snowboard cross. She is also the 2019 and 2023 World Champion in the same discipline.

The women's snowboard cross competition of the 2018 Winter Olympics was held on 16 February 2018 Bogwang Phoenix Park in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The event was won by Michela Moioli. Julia Pereira de Sousa Mabileau became second, and Eva Samková, the defending champion, third.

Jason Rüesch is a Swiss cross-country skier. He competed in 30 kilometre skiathlon at the 2022 Winter Olympics. He also had planned to compete at the 2018 Winter Olympics, but was forced to pull out due to health issues.
