Jeremy Thompson (born 23 September 1963) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler who played for Wiltshire. He was born in Bath, Somerset.
Having made his cricketing debut for Somerset Under-25s and later Somerset Second XI in 1982 and 1983 respectively, Thompson made two List A appearances for the team, the first during the 1989 season and the second a season later.
Thompson scored 34 runs on his debut, and 7 runs in his second, and final, List A match.
Colin Leslie McCool was an Australian cricketer who played in 14 Test matches between 1946 and 1950. McCool, born in Paddington, New South Wales, was an all-rounder who bowled leg spin and googlies with a round arm action and as a lower order batsman was regarded as effective square of the wicket and against spin bowling. He made his Test début against New Zealand in 1946, taking a wicket with his second delivery. He was part of Donald Bradman's Invincibles team that toured England in 1948 but injury saw him miss selection in any of the Test matches.

A left-handed batsman and right-arm off break bowler, he played for Somerset, Orange Free State and Gloucestershire before his retirement in 1991. Lloyds made his umpiring debut in 1996 and graduated to county cricket in 1998 and international games in 2000.

The James Hildreth Stand was opened by him at Somerset County Cricket Ground on 21 September 2022.

Born and raised in South Africa, Kieswetter moved to England to complete his education, and began playing county cricket for Somerset in 2007. A wicket-keeper batsman, he was considered a one-day specialist, and all his international appearances came in ODIs or Twenty20 Internationals.

His uncle, Bruce French, also played Test cricket for England and was chosen to present Ball with his England cap before his Test debut in July 2016.
