Jerry Slack is an American golf course designer based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He has played a role in more than 65 golf course construction projects. His winning of the Municipal Improvement of the Year award for Quail Ridge Golf Club in Kansas propelled him to designing some of the biggest projects in golf course design. His General's Ridge course in Manassas, Virginia was nominated for Golf Digest's “Best New Public Course” in 1997.

The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is a collection of championship caliber golf courses, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., distributed across the state of Alabama, as part of investments by the Retirement Systems of Alabama. The Trail started with 378 holes at eight sites throughout the state, but has grown to 468 holes at eleven sites.
Thomas Daniel Weiskopf was an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour. His most successful decade was the 1970s. He won 16 PGA Tour titles between 1968 and 1982, including the 1973 Open Championship. After winding down his career playing golf, Weiskopf became a noted golf course architect.
William Park Jr. was a Scottish professional golfer. He won The Open Championship twice. Park was also a successful golf equipment maker and golf writer. In his later years, Park built a significant career as one of the world's best golf course architects, with a worldwide business. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2013.

The Eastern Open Invitational, first played as the Eastern Open, was a golf tournament on the PGA Tour that was played in Maryland in the 1950s and early 1960s. The first nine events were played at Mt. Pleasant Municipal Golf Club in Baltimore, an 18-hole par-71 public course designed by Gus Hook and opened in 1933. For the next three years beginning with the 1959 event, the tournament moved to the new Pine Ridge Golf Club in Lutherville, three miles north of downtown Towson. This course, which overlooks the Loch Raven Reservoir, was built by Gus Hook in 1958. The tournament moved back to Mt. Pleasant after the 1961 event.
Paul Dye Jr., known as Pete Dye, was an American golf course designer and a member of a family of course designers. He was married to fellow designer and amateur champion Alice Dye.

Cypress Ridge Golf Course is located in Arroyo Grande, California—which is on the Central Coast of California. The golf course is a Peter Jacobsen Signature Golf Course, designed by Jacobsen Hardy Design. In its design and conception, Jacobsen Hardy utilized the natural surroundings of the area to make this central coast golf course truly unique. The golf course opened in 1999. It is rated 4½ stars by Golf Digest "Best Places to Play".
Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club is a championship golf club in the northwest United States, located in North Plains, Oregon, northwest of Portland. The Pound Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole, public golf facility designed by World Golf Hall of Fame designer Pete Dye in Pound Ridge, New York. It features 7,165 yards of course from the back tees. The course is a par of 72 and is on 172 acres (0.70 km2). It is Pete Dye's first and only design project in New York. The course was built at an estimated cost of $40 million by Kenneth Wang, brother of American fashion designer Vera Wang, and the current owner of the U.S. Summit Company. It was listed as the second best of Links Magazine's Best New Public Courses of 2008.

Worthing Golf Club is a golf club on the South Downs at Worthing, England. Located close to the Iron Age hill fort of Cissbury Ring in the new South Downs National Park, the club comprises two links golf courses, a 6 hole academy course, a driving range, practice area, two putting greens and a clubhouse. The club enjoys panoramic views both of the South Downs and the English Channel.
University Ridge Golf Course is a public golf course in the central United States, located in Verona and Madison, Wisconsin. It is the home course to both the men's and women's golf teams for the University of Wisconsin. Also, since 1994, it has been home to both the boys' and girls' WIAA state golf championships for all divisions. Beginning in 2016, Steve Stricker, a Wisconsin native, has hosted an event on the PGA Tour Champions every June at University Ridge. The Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course is also located on the property.

Cigna Insurance currently owns the property and has Arnold Palmer Golf Management running the daily operations.
Palouse Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course in the northwest United States, located at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. On the east edge of campus on the Palouse of the Inland Northwest, it opened for play fifteen years ago in 2008 and is the home venue of the Cougar golf teams of the Pac-12 Conference.
