Queen's Park Football Club is a Scottish professional football club, based in Glasgow, which plays in the Scottish Championship, the second tier of the Scottish football pyramid. Queen's Park is the oldest association football club in Scotland, having been founded in 1867, and is the 10th oldest in the world.
Queen of the South Football Club is a Scottish professional football club formed in 1919 in Dumfries. The club plays in Scottish League One, the third tier of Scottish football. He is Queen's Park's record goalscorer and second-highest appearance-maker, having scored 192 goals in 547 appearances in all competitions. He later served on the club's committee and as president. In September 2013, Queen's Park's new youth and community building at Lesser Hampden was named the "J. B. McAlpine Pavilion".
William G. Nicholson was a Scottish professional football outside left who made over 260 appearances in the Scottish League for Queen's Park and Rangers.
Cambuslang Hibernian F.C., also known as the Cambuslang Hibs, was a football club based in the town of Cambuslang, Scotland which was originally founded in 1884. They competed in regional competitions and the Scottish Cup during the 1880s before dissolving in 1889 after being expelled from the Scottish Football Association over a payments dispute. They reformed in 1892 as a Scottish Junior Football Association club, and won the Scottish Junior Cup in 1896. Overlooked for a place in some of the more lucrative competitions organised over the next decade, they became defunct in 1908.
