James Randall Rogers (born January 3,1967) is former Major League Baseball pitcher. Rogers played for the Toronto Blue Jays in 1995. He batted and threw right-handed.
Rogers graduated from Webster High School in Tulsa,Oklahoma in 1985 where he was an all-state shortstop. After high school,he played college baseball at Oklahoma's Seminole State College. At Seminole State in 1986,he began pitching full-time and was selected by the Blue Jays in the 16th round of the 1986 Major League Baseball draft. [1] In 1987,he was named to the 1987 ABCA/Rawlings NJCAA Division-I All-America First Team, [2] helped lead Seminole State to the JUCO World Series and was projected as a first round pick in the 1987 draft,he signed with the Blue Jays instead of re-entering the draft. After his playing career,Rogers spent more than a decade as an assistant coach for the Rogers State Hillcats baseball team. [3]

The Pittsburgh Panthers baseball is the NCAA Division I intercollegiate baseball program of the University of Pittsburgh,often referred to as "Pitt",located in Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania. The Pitt baseball team competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference and plays their home games at Charles L. Cost Field in the Petersen Sports Complex. It is the university's oldest recorded sport,dating to 1869. Prior to joining the ACC in 2013-14,Pitt had won both the Big East Conference regular season and Big East Tournament championships. The Panthers have also received four First Team All-American selections,and have appeared in three NCAA championships. 52 Panthers have been selected in the Major League Baseball Draft.
The Trevecca Trojans are the athletic teams that represent Trevecca Nazarene University,located in Nashville,Tennessee,in intercollegiate sports at the NCAA Division II ranks. The ABCA/Rawlings High School All-America Baseball Team has been named by the American Baseball Coaches Association every year since 1969,with the exceptions of 1993 and 2020. Between 1971–1975 and in 2000,only one team was selected per year. In 1969–1970,1976 and 1987,two teams were selected per year. Each team has consisted of between 10 and 25 players at various designated positions.
Lloyd Simmons is an American college baseball coach. He was the head coach for Seminole State College from 1976 to 2001 and from 2012 to 2016. He also served as a manager in Minor League Baseball and a scout. Simmons is a member of the National College Baseball Hall of Fame.
