Burst Angel is a Japanese anime television series directed by Koichi Ohata, from a screenplay by Fumihiko Shimo. It was produced by the Gonzo animation studio. Burst Angel takes place in the near future, after a rise in criminal activity forced the Japanese government to allow citizens to possess firearms and establish the Recently Armed Police of Tokyo (RAPT). The series follows a band of four mercenaries, named Jo, Meg, Sei, and Amy. It was broadcast for 24-episodes on TV Asahi from April to September 2004. An original video animation (OVA), titled Burst Angel: Infinity, was released in 2007.

Dennis the Menace and Gnasher is an animated television series which was aired on the CBBC Channel. Based on the original comic strips from The Beano, it features the adventures of the rebellious schoolboy Dennis the Menace and his dog Gnasher. A.P.P.P. Co., Ltd., was a Japanese animation studio founded on 22 June 1984, and based in Suginami, Tokyo, Japan. A subsidiary company called Super Techno Arts distributed many of their properties in North America. The founder of A.P.P.P., Kazufumi Nomura, got his start working at Mushi Production. Since its establishment, A.P.P.P. has contributed to the animation of a very large number of anime films and television series in collaboration with other companies. A.P.P.P. has been primarily credited for works including Project A-ko, Robot Carnival, and Roujin Z. A.P.P.P. remained active as a subcontractor for other studios until its dissolution on 31 July 2021, after Nomura died on 10 June.

Lochie Jo Allen was an American musician, teacher, and writer. She began her career as a musician and was a teacher of music, language, and literature at the secondary and college levels. In the later part of her career, Allen worked for the American Fisheries Society (AFS), where she helped establish their membership magazine Fisheries and the J. Frances Allen scholarship for young women pursuing doctoral degrees in fisheries science. Allen is regarded as a pioneer for scientific publications and inclusion of women in fisheries who made significant contributions to the field of fisheries and to the AFS.
