Joe Lancaster (born 14 September 1990) is the former bassist of metalcore band With One Last Breath and rock band Asking Alexandria. He currently plays second trumpet with New York Brass Band, a New Orleans style Brass Band from York.

Music career

Asking Alexandria (2008–2009)

Asking Alexandria was formed by guitarist Ben Bruce who recruited Joe Lancaster in 2008, along with singer Danny Worsnop, synthesist Ryan Binns, drummer James Cassells and rhythm guitarist Cameron Liddell, however, along with Binns, Lancaster departed from the band in January 2009 and was replaced by Sam Bettley. With One Last Breath (2010–2014)

Lancaster joined the band as a replacement for Jake Holmes who left the band in 2010. [2] Since his involvement the band has been signed to Small Town Records and released their debut album titled The Fearless Ones in 2014. [3]

New York Brass Band (2014–present)

Lancaster played trumpet as a child, but moved to the bass guitar as a teenager. When New York Brass Band played at Glastonbury Festival in 2014, Lancaster was given a trumpet by his father, who leads the band, and played to help out with some of the sets. Since then, he is a regular feature in the band, playing two more years at Glastonbury, along with numerous other festivals and weddings. [4]

The Bravery is an American rock band formed in New York City in 2003. The band consists of lead vocalist Sam Endicott, guitarist Michael Zakarin, keyboardist John Conway, bassist Mike Hindert and drummer Anthony Burulcich. They are best known for their 2005 top 10 UK single "An Honest Mistake" and their certified gold 2008 single "Believe". Before their initial split, they released three studio albums: The Bravery (2005), The Sun and the Moon (2007) and Stir the Blood (2009). They also released a remixed edition of their second album, called The Sun and the Moon Complete, in 2008, as well as an Internet live album called Live at the Wiltern Theater in 2010. The Joe Strummer Foundation

The Joe Strummer Foundation is a non-profit organisation which promotes the development of new music. It was established in memory of punk rock singer and guitarist Joe Strummer shortly after his death in December 2002. Strummer's widow Lucinda was the principal founder along with their daughters, Jazz and Lola Mellor, and English artist Damien Hirst. The organisation was known as Strummerville until December 2014.

We Are Harlot British hard rock band

We Are Harlot, often shortened to just Harlot, is a hard rock supergroup organized by singer Danny Worsnop, of Asking Alexandria and Jeff George who was formerly Sebastian Bach's guitarist. The lineup also includes bassist Brian Weaver from Silvertide and drummer Bruno Agra formerly of Revolution Renaissance. Formed in 2011, they released their first single titled "Denial" in 2014 and released their self-titled debut album in 2015, which debuted in US and UK charts and sold 5,000 copies in the US in its first week.

Ben Bruce English musician

Benjamin Paul Bruce is an English musician. He is the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of rock band Asking Alexandria and has also performed as a solo artist. Bruce founded the band while he was living in Dubai but the band split and he moved back to the United Kingdom, where he then started the band again under the same name with Danny Worsnop.

We Are Harlot is the self-titled debut album by the American rock band We Are Harlot and was released on March 30, 2015 in the US. Two singles have been released, "Denial" and "Dancing On Nails," which peaked at 14 on the US Mainstream Rock chart. The album successfully charted the UK and US charts, peaking at 58 in the UK and 165 in the US. And their song "Denial" is the bumper song for WWE Raw.

Upon This Dawning was an Italian metalcore band from Brescia, founded in 2007. They have released one EP and three studio albums. Their final album We Are All Sinners was released in April 2014.

Dark Horses (band)

Dark Horses are a British rock band formed in 2010, consisting of lead vocalist Lisa Elle, synth player/guitarist Bobby Waterson, lead guitarist David Wheeldon, electric bass Anastasia Zio and drummer Stevie Ingham.
