Johannes Kotschy is a Swedish singer and songwriter who rose to fame after winning the third season of the Swedish reality show Popstars on Kanal5. An early favorite, he won the show convincingly.
Johannes has had several hit singles and presented awards at the NRJ Awards in Stockholm 2004.

Johannes Vilhelm Jensen was a Danish author, known as one of the great Danish writers of the first half of 20th century. He was awarded the 1944 Nobel Prize in Literature "for the rare strength and fertility of his poetic imagination with which is combined an intellectual curiosity of wide scope and a bold, freshly creative style". One of his sisters, Thit Jensen, was also a well-known writer and a very vocal, and occasionally controversial, early feminist.

Johannes Avetaranian, born Mehmet Şükri was originally a mullah in Turkey who converted from Islam to Christianity, and later became a missionary for the Swedish Mission Covenant Church in Southern Xinjiang (1892–1938). He translated the New Testament into the Uyghur language. He preached Christianity in Xinjiang and at a Swedish Protestant mission. He died in 1919, aged 58, in Wiesbaden.
Sweden participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "This Is My Life" written by Bobby Ljunggren and Kristian Lagerström. The song was performed by Anna Bergendahl. The Swedish broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT) organised the national final Melodifestivalen 2010 in order to select the Swedish entry for the 2010 contest in Oslo, Norway. After a six-week-long competition consisting of four heats, a Second Chance round and a final, "This Is My Life" performed by Anna Bergendahl emerged as the winner after achieving the highest score following the combination of votes from six international jury groups, five regional jury groups and a public vote.
Alice Bah Kuhnke is a Swedish politician for the Green Party who is currently a Member of the European Parliament since 2019. Previously she served as the Minister of Culture and Democracy From October 2014 to January 2019. Before going into politics, she was a television presenter. She also helped found the think tank Sektor3.

Sound of Noise is a 2010 Swedish-French comedy-crime film written and directed by Ola Simonsson and Johannes Stjärne Nilsson. It tells the story of a group of musicians who illegally perform music on objects in the various institutions of a city. The film is a follow-up to Music for One Apartment and Six Drummers, the 2001 short film made by the same directors with the same basic concept. The title comes from the Italian futurist Luigi Russolo's 1913 manifesto The Art of Noises.

Love & Anarchy is a Swedish romantic comedy television series. It is Netflix's second Swedish-language series, following Quicksand. It was produced by the same company, FLX. The series was created by Lisa Langseth, who also served as the head writer, together with Alex Haridi. The story follows a professional married woman with children who finds herself playing a daring game with a young male employee.
The 2020–21 SDHL season was the 14th season of the Swedish Women's Hockey League. The season began on 12 September 2020 and concluded on 26 February 2021. All ten teams were able to complete a full 36-game regular season.
