Paludan was the son of a prominent developer in Viborg, and graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 1938 after having completed a degree as a constructor in Århus.
In 1942, during the occupation of Denmark, he established an architectural practice in Virum north of Copenhagen. In the following decades he left a stamp on buildings in contiguously built-up urban areas of Copenhagen. He was behind the highrise blocks on Sorgenfrivang, the single-family houses on Klosterbakken and the renovation of Virum School among others.

Jens Paludan-Müller was a Danish bishop, teacher and author. He served as the bishop of the Diocese of Aarhus between 1830 and 1845 and published a collection of his sermons. In 1799 he married Benedicte Rosenstand-Goiske (1775–1820), the daughter of the priest in Gunslev, Jens Rosenstand-Goiske. The couple had 9 children including the historian Caspar Paludan-Müller, the poet Frederik Paludan-Müller and the deacon Jens Paludan-Müller.
Virum Basketball Klub is a Danish professional basketball club based in Virum, a suburban neighbourhood in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality. The Virum men's team plays in the First Division and the women's team in the second division after relegation of the 2010–11 season. For sponsorship reasons the club's current name is Virum Vipers.

Rasmus Paludan is a Danish-Swedish politician and lawyer. He is the leader of the far-right political party Hard Line, which he founded in 2017. He is the older brother of poet Tine Paludan and writer Martin Paludan. Paludan himself has a migration background as his father is Swedish journalist Tomas Polvall and he has lived in Sweden at times, which according to himself gives him the right to Swedish citizenship. In October 2020 Paludan was officially declared a Swedish citizen by authorities as his father is Swedish.
