Nkosiyakhe Amos Masondo is a South African politician,who has served as the Chairperson of South Africa's National Council of Provinces since 23 May 2019. He was the mayor of the city of Johannesburg,South Africa,between December 2000 and 2011. He is a member of the African National Congress,and was the first elected mayor of the Unified City of Johannesburg.

The Coloured vote constitutional crisis,also known as the Coloured vote case,was a constitutional crisis that occurred in the Union of South Africa during the 1950s as the result of an attempt by the Nationalist government to remove coloured voters in the Union's Cape Province from the common voters' rolls. George Wynn Brereton Huntingford was an English linguist,anthropologist and historian. He lectured in East African languages and cultures at SOAS,University of London from 1950 until 1966.
