John Robert Clarke (born 27 July 1938) is a retired bishop of the Anglican Church of Canada. [1]
Clarke was educated at the University of Western Ontario and ordained in 1963. [2] His first positions were as a curate at St Michael and All Angels', Toronto, and then priest in charge of the Church of the Apostles in Moosonee until 1984. He was then appointed Archdeacon of the Diocese of Athabasca in 1984 [3] and its diocesan bishop in 1992. He was also Metropolitan of Rupert's Land from 2003 until 2009. [4]
The Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario is one of four ecclesiastical provinces in the Anglican Church of Canada. It was established in 1912 out of six dioceses of the Ecclesiastical Province of Canada located in the civil province of Ontario, and the Diocese of Moosonee from the Province of Rupert's Land.

Donald David Phillips is a Canadian Anglican bishop who was the Bishop of Rupert's Land from 2000 until 2018. Phillips was educated at the University of Western Ontario and ordained in 1981. He was at Lac La Biche, Alberta, until 1984 and then priest in charge at St Thomas' Fort McMurray. He also held ministry positions at St Paul's Fort Chipewyan and St Michael and All Angels' Moose Jaw before becoming Ministries Development Co-ordinator in 1992. He was ordained to the episcopate in 2000. His term as diocesan bishop concluded in November 2018.
