John Cordier (Oudenburg, 1 September 1941-Bonheiden, 22 January 2002) was a Belgian businessman. He founded Telindus in 1969, a modem and network component company. In October 1999 he succeeded Julien De Wilde as President of the board of directors of Agoria.
John Cordier was also very active in supporting sports, he served as President of the Belgian football club KV Mechelen for eleven years from 1982 to 1993. Under his management and thanks to his financial support the club became an important player in Belgian soccer during that period, and beat AFC Ajax in the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup final in 1988.

Koninklijke Voetbalclub Mechelen, often simply called KV Mechelen or KVM, or by their former French name FC Malinois, is a Belgian professional football club based in Mechelen in the Antwerp province. KV Mechelen plays in the Belgian First Division A. They have won four Belgian championships and twice the Belgian Cup, as well as the 1987–88 European Cup Winners' Cup and the 1988 European Super Cup. They collected most of their honours in the 1940s and in the 1980s.
Leo Albert Jozef "Lei" Clijsters was a Belgian professional footballer, who played as a central defender.
Constant Vanden Stock was the president and a player of Belgian football club R.S.C. Anderlecht. The stadium of this club is named after him. Constant Vanden Stock also served as coach of the Belgium national football team from 1958 to 1968. He is the father of another club president, Roger Vanden Stock. He is also behind the bribery of referee Emilio Guruceta Muro to throw the UEFA cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest in 1984. Vanden Stock managed the family brewery Belle-Vue, famous for its Kriek and Lambic, until he sold it to beer giant Interbrew, now InBev.
François Van der Elst was a Belgian footballer who played as a right winger. Van der Elst was born in Opwijk, Flemish Brabant. With Anderlecht he won two national titles and four cups between 1971 and 1980. Van der Elst won the European Cup Winners’ Cup twice, in 1976 and 1978,scoring 18 goals in the competition,the 4th most of any player. He also helped Belgium to second place in the 1980 European Championships and was part of the World Cup squad at Spain ’82. After his career, Van der Elst owned a snooker and billiards bar in his hometown of Opwijk. On New Years’ Day he collapsed and was resuscitated by a medical emergency team before being placed in an induced coma. A period of intensive care eventually lead to his death from the sustained heart damage at the age of 62.
Robert Waseige was a Belgian football manager and player. While managing R.F.C. de Liège he helped them win the 1989–90 Belgian Cup. He became the coach of Belgium before Euro 2000 and led Belgium to the second round at the 2002 World Cup.
Jean Nicolay was a Belgian football goalkeeper who earned the Belgian Golden Shoe in 1963 while at Standard Liège. He played 39 times for the national team between 1959 and 1967, starting in a 0–2 friendly defeat to Austria on 24 May 1959.

In his short two-year career, he became the first Frenchman to reach the level of the English members of the Alpine Club, in the silver age of alpinism in the second half of the 19th century, which was dominated by the development of mountaineering in the Alps. With some of the Alpine Club's mountain guides and mountaineers, he led significant first ascents in the Mont Blanc massif and in the Dauphiné Alps.
