John Eames is a British live semi-professional poker player, semi-professional snooker player, and former carom billiards player [1] with one circuit ring (WSOPC Nevada; $289,706). [2] [3] [4]

Snooker

Eames was, unsuccessfully, competing for a place on the pro tour in between the 2005–2006 (PIOS Tour qualification), 2007–2008 (amateur tour (PIOS) qualification), and 2015-2016 (Qualification School 1; Qualification School 2) [6] snooker seasons.

Poker

Eames is perhaps most known for finishing 4th in the 2022 World Championship of Poker (World Series of Poker Main Event) for a swift $3,000,000. [2] [5] [7]

In 2011, Eames finished third in the European Poker Tour Copenhagen earning $257,011. [8]

As of July 2024, Eames' total live tournament winnings exceeds $5,200,000. [5]
