John Russo (born November 10, 1973) is an American baseball coach. He graduated from the University of West Alabama in 2000. Russo served as an assistant coach at West Alabama while completing a degree in secondary education and a concentration in physical education. He worked with the Tigers hitters from 1998 until his graduation in 2000, helping them set several program records. He then moved to Saint Joseph's in Rensselaer, Indiana, serving as infield coach and academic advisor for his five seasons. From 2005 to 2008, Russo worked as a teacher and athletic director in Wadsworth, Illinois. During his summers, Russo coached the Vermont Mountaineers of the New England Collegiate Baseball League. He led the Mountaineers to the 2006 and 2007 NECBL Championship. In 2008, Russo earned the top assistant coaching position at Hofstra Pride. After Patrick Anderson's resignation to work for the Hagerstown Suns just before the 2012, season, Russo became interim head coach, and was named to the position permanently after leading the Pride to a second-place finish in the CAA. John Beilein American basketball coach

John Patrick Beilein is an American professional basketball coach who currently serves as the Senior Player Development Advisor for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Before being hired by Detroit, Beilein served as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Jim Larrañaga American basketball coach (born 1949)

James Joseph Larrañaga is an American college basketball coach and the head men's basketball coach of the University of Miami, a position he has held since 2011. Previously, he served as the head men's basketball coach at American International College from 1977 to 1979, Bowling Green State University from 1986 to 1997, and George Mason University from 1997 to 2011, where he coached the Patriots to 13 consecutive winning seasons and became a media sensation during the Patriots' improbable run to the Final Four of the 2006 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament. Larrañaga has won several national coach of the year awards and won over 600 games as a head coach.

Joseph Anthony Mihalich is an American former college basketball coach and current Special Advisor to the Director of Athletics at Hofstra University.

VCU Rams

The VCU Rams are the athletic teams of Virginia Commonwealth University of Richmond, Virginia, United States. The Rams compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association as members of the Atlantic 10 Conference. The most successful teams have been the men's tennis and basketball teams, which have had success in their conference and on the regional and national stages. The school's colors are black and gold. Lyle Allen "Butch" Jones Jr. is an American football coach who is currently the head coach at Arkansas State University. Hofstra Pride Intercollegiate sports teams of Hofstra University

The Hofstra Pride are composed of 17 teams representing Hofstra University in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women’s basketball, cross-country running, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis and track and field. Men’s sports include baseball and wrestling. Women’s sports include volleyball, field hockey, and softball. The Pride compete in the NCAA Division I and have been members of the Colonial Athletic Association in most sports since 2001. They were previously members of the America East Conference.

Mitch Gaspard is an American college baseball coach and former second baseman. He is the hitting coach and recruiting coordinator at Louisiana Tech University. Gaspard played college baseball at Louisiana State University from 1984 to 1985 before transferring to the University of Houston where he played from 1986 to 1987. He is the former head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide baseball team. Gaspard agreed to a 3-year contract on September 1, 2009, starting in 2010. The 2010 season was Gaspard's first season as the head coach of the Crimson Tide. He had been on the Alabama coaching staff for ten years, and was given the head coaching position when Jim Wells retired. He resigned from Alabama on May 30, 2016.

Chris Finwood is an American baseball coach and former shortstop, who is the current head baseball coach of the Old Dominion Monarchs. He played college baseball at the Virginia Military Institute for coaches Donny White and Paul Maini from 1985 to 1988. He then served as the head coach of the VMI Keydets (1992–1994) and the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (2006–2011) Finwood has coached 61 players who were selected in the MLB Players Draft including 3 major leaguers.

The 2015–16 Hofstra Pride men's basketball team represents Hofstra University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Pride, led by third year head coach Joe Mihalich, play their home games at Mack Sports Complex and were members of the Colonial Athletic Association. They finished the season 24–10, 14–4 in CAA play to finish in a tie for the CAA championship with UNC Wilmington. They advanced to the championship game of the CAA Tournament where they lost to UNC Wilmington. As a regular season champion who failed to win their league tournament, they received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to George Washington.

The 2016–17 Hofstra Pride men's basketball team represented Hofstra University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Pride, led by fourth-year head coach Joe Mihalich, played their home games at Mack Sports Complex as members of the Colonial Athletic Association. They finished the season 15–17, 7–11 in CAA play to finish in a tie for seventh place. They lost in the first round of the CAA Tournament to Delaware.

The 2017–18 Hofstra Pride men's basketball team represents Hofstra University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Pride, led by fifth-year head coach Joe Mihalich, will play their home games at Mack Sports Complex in Hempstead, New York as members of the Colonial Athletic Association. They finished the season 19–12, 12–6 in CAA play to finish in third place. They lost in the first round of the CAA Tournament to UNC Wilmington.

The 2020–21 Hofstra Pride men's basketball team represented Hofstra University during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Pride were coached by Mike Farrelly, who served as acting head coach while Joe Mihalich was out on a temporary medical leave of absence. They played their home games at Mack Sports Complex in Hempstead, New York as members of the Colonial Athletic Association. In a season limited due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Pride finished the season 13–10, 8–6 in CAA play to finish in fourth place. They defeated Delaware in the quarterfinals of the CAA Tournament before losing to Elon in the semifinals.
