John Taylor (born 1874) was a Welsh international footballer. He was part of the Wales national football team, playing 1 match on 28 March 1898 against England. [1] At club level, he played for Wrexham. [2] [3]
The Football Association of Wales is the governing body of association football and futsal in Wales, and controls the Wales national football team, its corresponding women's team, as well as the Wales national futsal team. It is a member of FIFA, UEFA and the IFAB.
Ryan Joseph Giggs is a Welsh football coach, former player and co-owner of Salford City. He is regarded as one of the greatest players of his generation, and one of the best wingers in the history of football. Giggs spent his entire professional career at Manchester United, where he also served as the club's interim player-manager and assistant manager. He is one of the most decorated footballers of all time, and is one of only 44 players to have made over 1,000 career appearances.

Gary Andrew Speed was a Welsh professional footballer and manager. As manager of Wales, Speed is often credited as being the catalyst for the change in fortunes of the national team and as setting the pathway to future successes.

Edgar Wynton Newham (1914–1995) was a rugby league footballer for Canterbury-Bankstown, New South Wales and for the Australian national side.
Reg Date was an Australian soccer player who plied his trade after the Second World War. Date played for Wallsend Football Club and Canterbury-Bankstown. He represented Australia in five full international matches, captaining three times.
Percival Craddock 'Crad' Evans was a Welsh football player and manager. He represented Wales at amateur international level. Evans moved to the Torquay area in 1904 from Wales, joining Ellacombe Football Club before moving to the newly formed Torquay Town side. He was Torquay's top goalscorer in five of the following seasons and later played for Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City.
Sonny Toi Parker is a Welsh rugby union footballer who played for the Wales national rugby union team. He played for Pontypridd and the Celtic Warriors, before moving to the Ospreys when the Warriors region collapsed. He retired from Wales because of the demands of international rugby at the end of 2005 but was brought back by Gareth Jenkins for the 2006 Autumn internationals, and was subsequently selected in Wales' 2007 World Cup squad. Parker finished his Welsh career with 31 caps and six tries. He was the 1007th player to be capped by Wales. In 2012, it was confirmed that he was leaving Ospreys for newly promoted English side London Welsh. Parker is now the Team Manager of London Welsh.
William "Greg" Conescu is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer. An Australia national and Queensland State of Origin representative hooker, he played all of his club football in Queensland with Norths Devils Gladstone Brothers, Redcliffe and the Brisbane Broncos.
Ernest Arthur "George" Anlezark, also known as Alec, was an Australian rugby league and rugby union player – a dual-code rugby international.He was a pioneer Australian representative footballer selected in the first Australia national rugby union team overseas touring side to New Zealand in 1905 and representing the Kangaroos in the first Kangaroo tour of Great Britain in 1908.
Roy Bull was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s and 1950s and spent his whole career – as player, coach & administrator – with the Manly-Warringah club in Sydney. In addition to playing in three New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership grand finals, he was a representative for the New South Wales rugby league team and the Australian national side. He has since been named amongst the nation's finest footballers of the 20th century.

Ivor Preece was an English rugby union footballer who represented and captained England Schools, England and Coventry. He is the only Coventry RFC player to have achieved this accolade. He was selected to play with the British and Irish Lions, on their tour to New Zealand and Australia in 1950.
Frank William Whitcombe, also known by the nickname of "The Big Man", was a Welsh rugby union, and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s and 1940s. He played rugby union (RU) for Cardiff RFC, London Welsh RFC, Aldershot Services and Army Rugby Union, as a prop, and representative level rugby league (RL) for Great Britain, Rugby League XIII, and Wales, and at club level for Broughton Rangers and Bradford Northern, as a prop.
