Since 2014 he has been Distinguished Research Professor of Philosophy at Concordia University, Wisconsin, and continues to work as a barrister specializing in religious freedom cases in international Human Rights law.

John Warwick (1746–1828) was an English-born farmer and political figure in Nova Scotia. He represented the town of Digby from 1806 to 1818 and Annapolis County from 1818 to 1820 in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly.
