Jung Ye-rin (born 15 July 1996) is a judoka who competes internationally for South Korea. [1] She won a bronze medal in the mixed team judo competition at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Hwang Jung-oh is a retired judoka from South Korea, who represented South Korea at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California. There he won the silver medal in the men's half-lightweight division (‍–‍65 kg), after having been defeated by Seoi nage in the final match. He is also the founder of Hwang's Martial Arts.

Joung Da-woon is a South Korean judoka. At the 2012 Summer Olympics she competed in the Women's 63 kg, but was defeated in the semifinals. She beat Ramila Yusubova and Yoshie Ueno before losing to Xu Lili. Because Xu reached the final Joung was entered into the repechage, where she lost her bronze medal match to Gévrise Émane.

Hwang Ye-Sul is South Korean judoka. She competed in the 70 kg event in judo at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where she reached the semifinals. However, Ye-Sul lost to Lucie Décosse and lost the bronze medal match to Edith Bosch.

Neşe Şensoy Yıldız is a Turkish judoka, who competed in the women's extra-lightweight category. She held two Turkish senior titles in her own division, and picked up a total of twenty medals in her career, including a gold from the 2001 Mediterranean Games in Tunis, Tunisia, a silver from the 2006 European Judo Championships in Tampere, Finland, and a bronze from the 2003 World Judo Championships in Osaka, Japan. Yildiz represented her nation Turkey in two editions of the Olympic Games, where she failed to reach the quarterfinals in the 48-kg division. Throughout most of her sporting career, Yildiz trained for Ordu Judo Ihtisas Club in her native Istanbul under head coach and sensei Haldun Efemgil.

Ye Gue-rin is a South Korean judoka, who competed in the women's extra-lightweight category. She finished seventh in the 48-kg division at the 2004 Summer Olympics, and also picked up a bronze at the 2008 East Asian Judo Championships in Taipei, Taiwan.

She is known for her various roles as child actor as: My Secret Terrius (2018) and Itaewon Class (2020). She has acted in films also such as: Champion and Man of Men (2018) among others. In 2022 she appeared in romantic TV series Twenty-Five Twenty-One.

Judo competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris took place from 27 July to 3 August at Grand Palais Éphémère in Champ de Mars. The number of judokas competing across fourteen weight categories at these Games has been reduced from 393 in Tokyo 2020 to 372, with an equal distribution between men and women.
