K-1 World Grand Prix 2012 Final was a kickboxing event promoted by the K-1 promotion. It took place on March 15, 2013 in Zagreb, Croatia. It was the 19th annual K-1 World GP Final and the first K-1 event since the establishment of K-1 Global Holdings Ltd by EMCOM Entertainment. [1] For the first time in history, it was held outside Japan. [2]

Remy Kenneth Bonjasky is a Surinamese-Dutch former kickboxer. He is a three-time K-1 World Grand Prix heavyweight champion, winning the title in 2003, 2004, and 2008. He is widely considered one of the greatest kickboxers of all time. Bonjasky has been known for his flying kicks, knee attacks and strong defense, hence the nickname "The Flying Gentleman".
Ruslan Savelyevich Karaev (Karayev) (Russian: Русла́н Саве́льевич Кара́ев, romanized: Ruslan Savelyevich Karayev; Ossetian: Хъараты Савелийы фырт Руслан, romanized: Qaraty Savelijy fyrt Ruslan; born May 19, 1983) is a Russian kickboxer. He is K-1 World GP 2005 in Las Vegas and K-1 World Grand Prix 2008 in Taipei tournament champion. He joined the Golden Glory's K-1 stable, training under Cor Hemmers.
Badr Hari is a Moroccan-Dutch kickboxer. He is a former K-1 Heavyweight World Champion (2007–2008), It's Showtime Heavyweight World Champion (2009–2010) and K-1 World Grand Prix 2008 and 2009 finalist. He is widely considered one of the greatest kickboxers of all time.
Zabit Samedov is an Azerbaijani kickboxer and muay thai fighter. He is the 2012 K-1 World Grand Prix Finalist, when he lost to Badr Hari in the quarter-finals by unanimous decisions. Samedov is also a former It's Showtime 95MAX World Championship challenger.

Moroșanu also competed for Local Kombat, K-1, Glory and Dynamite Fighting Show. He is currently a politician and kickboxing promoter, serving as president of the Dynamite Fighting Show.
Gökhan Saki is a Dutch-born Turkish kickboxer and mixed martial artist. He is a Dutch, European and World Muay Thai champion, K-1 World GP 2006 in Amsterdam tournament finalist, K-1 World Grand Prix 2008 in Hawaii champion and former Glory Light Heavyweight Champion. Saki also competed in the light heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

It was the Final Elimination tournament for top sixteen fighters. The winners qualified for the K-1 World GP 2008 Final held on December 6, 2008 at Yokohama Arena, Japan.
Dževad Poturak is a Bosnian heavyweight kickboxer, fighting out of Jumruk Gym in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is the former WAKO Pro World Low-Kick champion and K-1 Fighting Network Prague 2007 tournament champion.
Serhiy Lashchenko, also spelled as Sergii Lashchenko and Sergei Lascenko, was a Ukrainian kickboxer. He was a K-1 and Superkombat Heavyweight.
