K2 have played since 2004 at various festivals: KKNK, Aardklop, Gariep Festival, NAMPO, Volksblad Arts Festival, Aardtappel festival, Loskopdam festival, Grahamstown festival, ARTSA, etc. K2 have also played at places such as Windmill Casino, Flamingo Casino, Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace SA vs NZ, Boktown BFN 2007 & 2008, Vodacom Park - Bloemfontein, ABSA Park – Kimberley and OFM Classic Cycle Races 2006 & 2007. The South African band was also at the Standerton Highveld Show in 2007 and has featured on "Fiesta on Kyknet". They have shared the stage with various artists in South Africa such as Mean Mr Mustard, Prime Circle, Watershed, Parlatones, Wonderboom, and many more, and have been a backing band for Arno Jordaan and Pieter Smith. From the band debut album "Hoogste Piek", two of their songs ("Dans nou nader on Rots 3" and "Spook on Diep 6") are nationally available. Another of their songs "Ek hou van jou" has been listed on various radio stations such as OFM, Bay FM, Radio Panorama and Radio Laeveld. "Signs" and "Help me believe" have been played on UJFM & Pukke FM. "Help me believe" was number 1 for 5 weeks on Kovsie FM TOP 30.
K2 has completed their second album and signed a record deal. The new album is being recorded by Darryl Wayne De Lange of Musicology and will only be available in English. The band also provide their own sound system and have also provided sound for shows at Volksblad Arts Festival for – Navi Redd, Lize Beekman, Anna Davel, Prime Circle, Bok van Blerk, Bosveldklong, Jay-Cee, Quintin Prinsloo, Karlien Husselman, Spoonfeedas and many more.

Enter Shikari are a British rock band formed in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England in 1999 by bassist Chris Batten, lead vocalist and keyboardist Rou Reynolds, and drummer Rob Rolfe. In 2003, guitarist Rory Clewlow joined the band to complete its current line-up, and it adopted its current name. In 2006, they performed to a growing fanbase at Download Festival as well as a sold-out concert at the London Astoria. Their debut studio album, Take to the Skies, was released in 2007 and reached number 4 in the Official UK Album Chart, and has since been certified gold in the UK. Their second, Common Dreads, was released in 2009 and debuted on the UK Albums Chart at number 16; while their third, A Flash Flood of Colour, was released in 2012 and debuted on the chart at number 4. Freshlyground are a South African Afro-fusion band that formed in Cape Town in 2002. The band members have different backgrounds, including South Africa, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe. Freshlyground's musical style blends elements of traditional South African music, blues, jazz, and features of indie rock. They are best known for their performance "Waka Waka " with Colombian singer Shakira, which received worldwide recognition. The music video – featuring the group – also received over 3 billion views on YouTube.
Veronique de Lange also known as Nicky, to avoid confusion with Veronique Lalouette, is a South African singer who rose to popularity after placing 3rd in season 3 of Idols, the South African version of Pop Idol, shown by M-Net. She teamed up with fellow Idols III contestants Kesha Charlton-Perkins and Deidre Visser in 2006 to form a girl-group named NKD. Francois Badenhorst, better known by his stage name Francois Van Coke, rose to fame as the front man of South African rock bands Fokofpolisiekar and Van Coke Kartel. On the 8 April 2015, Francois launched his self-titled debut solo album and kicked his solo career into gear with the release of – Toe Vind Ek Jou featuring Karen Zoid. It was the first Afrikaans album and single to simultaneously jump to number one positions on the South African iTunes Store. The song was downloaded more than 20,000 times on iTunes, achieving Platinum status as a single. The music video for "Toe Vind Ek Jou" was viewed over a million times within six-month and was announced as the biggest Afrikaans music video of 2015. His second album, Hierdie is die Lewe followed in 2017 and in 2018 he released a collab-EP, Francois van Coke en Vriende featuring collaborations with Die Heuwels Fantasties, Early B, Laudo Liebenberg and Jack Parow. The first season of his TV show, Die Van Coke Show, aired in 2018. His third solo album, Dagdrome in Suburbia, released in October 2019. He has a daughter named Alex, age 4–5, and an infant boy.
